L’invention porte en particulier sur un procédé de gestion, par un système informatique embarqué à bord d’un véhicule automobile, du fonctionnement d’un premier écran agencé côté conducteur et d’un deuxième écran agencé côté passager d’une interface homme-machine du véhicule, chaque écran étant agencé dans l’habitacle du véhicule sur un cache d’un montant du pare-brise. L’invention concerne également un système informatique mettant en œuvre un tel procédé. Ainsi, dans tous les cas, les écrans des interfaces homme-machine connues obligent le conducteur à détourner son regard de l’environnement de conduite pour prendre connaissance des indications visuelles qui sont présentées sur les écrans. Or, on le sait, même si ces périodes pendant lesquelles le conducteur détourne son attention de la route sont fugaces, elles contribuent néanmoins à augmenter le risque d’accident. De plus, l’invention vise aussi à fournir un procédé et un système qui permettent d’améliorer la capacité du conducteur d’un véhicule automobile à visualiser l’environnement de conduite du véhicule.The invention aims to overcome this drawback.
