Abstract

Comforter for children made up of a removable pad of the nursing pad type to slip into the mother's bra. The invention relates to this removable pad device allowing on the one hand the mother to impregnate it with her scent, in a simple and discreet way by concealing it in her bra, and on the other hand the baby to always be able to smell the soothing scent of his mother, present on his favorite object that he can take with him everywhere. This removable pad is made of a fabric made of bamboo fibers, with soft and ultra-absorbent characteristics, thus allowing a good impregnation of odors. It is attached to the cuddly toy using a self-gripping system. Each cuddly toy comes with two copies of pads, so that one can be used by the mother and the other can be attached to the child's cuddly toy at the same time. It is then enough to exchange them from time to time, to allow continuous use and effectiveness. This system allows the fabric to always be impregnated with the maternal scent, without the mother having to bother with the entire cuddly toy and separate her child from it. The present invention may apply in general to all babies and their mothers, with however increased effectiveness in breastfeeding mothers, babies being particularly sensitive to the smell of breast milk.

Description

Doudou pour enfant avec coussinet amovible.Comforter for children with removable cushion.

The present invention relates to a fabric plush, more commonly and familiarly known as a "doudou", intended for a baby or a child, containing a removable part, having the function of being impregnated with the smell of the mother of the child.

The comforter is known to be a fetish object for the child, who very often accompanies him everywhere, being favorable to his well-being and his falling asleep. It is also often considered a transitional object, especially from the age of eight months, when a baby begins to fully realize that he and his mother are two different people. This is very often experienced as a distancing, awakening certain fears and anxieties in the very young. The comforter's role is to reassure the child, to make the link between him and his parent. And to consolidate this bond and this feeling of security, at any age and development phase of the child, what better than the smell of a mother? Indeed, it has been shown that the sense of smell is the first sense that intervenes in the recognition of a mother by her baby, and vice versa. A baby needs the smell of his mother to feel reassured, soothed. From his first moments of life, he is able to recognize his mother among other women just by her smell, and more particularly that of her nipples, which is the same as that of amniotic fluid. Whether consciously or unconsciously, and throughout our lives, the smell of a mother is always associated with tenderness and protection. Thus, mums are very often advised to impregnate their babies' comforters with their scent. But how so far? By sleeping with it (but in this case baby is separated from it), by slipping it into her cleavage during the day (but it's not very discreet or practical)? The purpose of the present invention would thus be to facilitate for the mother the impregnation of her own scent on her baby's cuddly toy, while never separating the latter from her favorite object, which will be guaranteed to constantly wear this sweet perfume with reassuring virtues. .

To do this, the present invention will consist of a cuddly toy with various properties. On the one hand, it will be composed only of fabrics made from materials from organic farming or at least oeko-tex (registered trademark) (for environmental issues and for the safety of the child who will most certainly have to put it on in the mouth), and more particularly bamboo fibers, which is a fabric with antibacterial, biodegradable and naturally soft properties, but also ultra-absorbent, thus allowing the very good impregnation of odors. On the other hand, it will include a removable, detachable and reattachable part thanks to a secure self-gripping system (Velcro: registered trademark), which attached to the comforter, will represent the belly of the latter. This removable part will have the shape of a pad, like a nursing pad, which the mother can then easily and discreetly slip into her bra in order to deposit her scent there, while going about her business. A cuddly toy will be accompanied by two pads, so that one copy is always attached to the child's cuddly toy, and the other copy can be used by the mother at the same time. In this way, mum and baby will be able to exchange them as many times as desired, which will ensure on the one hand that the cuddly toy is always complete and that it always wears mum's "fresh scent", and on the other hand ensure ease of use and discretion for the mother.

The present invention may apply in general to all babies and their mothers, with however increased effectiveness in nursing mothers, babies being particularly sensitive to the smell of breast milk, and the detachable part can quite acting as a nursing pad.
