Abstract
L’invention concerne un procédé de gestion de la traversée d’un tunnel à double sens de circulation (4) par un véhicule de gros gabarit (5), comportant les étapes de réception d’informations relatives aux caractéristiques dudit tunnel que s’apprête à traverser ledit véhicule de gros gabarit, de vérification de la largeur suffisante dudit tunnel pour permettre audit véhicule de gros gabarit d’y croiser d’autres véhicules de manière sécurisée, de vérification lorsque la largeur dudit tunnel est insuffisante de la présence ou de l’entrée dans ledit tunnel d’au moins un autre véhicule (6) circulant en sens inverse dudit véhicule de gros gabarit, et d’émission, en cas de présence ou d’entrée dans ledit tunnel d’un au moins dit autre véhicule et à l’attention du conducteur dudit véhicule de gros gabarit ou d’un système de conduite automatisée gérant de manière autonome sa conduite, d’une alerte ordonnant l’arrêt dudit véhicule de gros gabarit avant l’entrée dudit tunnel.
