Un dispositif (1) d’identification d’un mélange gazeux (5) comprenant un système de captation (2) non sélectif et au moins trois voies d’acheminement (30, 31, 32) du mélange gazeux (5) vers le système de captation (2), au moins deux voies d’acheminement (30, 31, 32) comprenant chacune au moins un organe de filtrage (40, 41, 42), ledit système de captation (2) étant configuré pour mesurer, pour le mélange gazeux (5) dans chaque voie d’acheminement (30, 31, 32), des variations de signal électrique (ΔU1, ΔU2, ΔU3) formant un paramètre d’identification (P), le dispositif (1) comprenant au moins une base de données (11) comprenant une pluralité de paramètres d’identification prédéterminés (P1-Pn) associés à des identifiants de mélange gazeux (Id1-Idn) et au moins un organe de calcul (10) configuré pour comparer le paramètre d’identification (P) aux paramètres d’identification prédéterminés (P1-Pn) de manière à déterminer l’identifiant (Id) du mélange gazeux (5).
