L’invention concerne un procédé de régulation de la température au sein d’un habitacle (10) d’un véhicule (1) automobile équipé d’un système de climatisation (2), ou d’une zone de cet habitacle (10), le procédé comportant l’étape de mesurer (40) le niveau de sudation d’une zone cutanée (30) d’un occupant (3) du véhicule en mesurant la quantité d’eau présente au niveau de la zone cutanée (30), au moyen d’un capteur (28) agencé dans l’habitacle (10) pour capturer des images de ladite zone cutanée (30) dans le domaine du proche infrarouge, la zone cutanée (30) étant située au niveau de la tête de l’occupant (3).
