Abstract
L’invention concerne un procédé de liquéfaction d’un courant d’hydrocarbures (102) tel que le gaz naturel mettant en œuvre un échangeur de chaleur (E2) à plaques (2) présentant une longueur mesurée suivant la direction longitudinale (z), les plaques (2) définissant entre elles au moins une première série de passages (10) pour l’écoulement d’au moins une partie d’un courant réfrigérant diphasique (203) se vaporisant contre le courant d’hydrocarbures (102), ledit procédé comprenant notamment les étapes : introduction d’un courant réfrigérant (202) dans l’échangeur (E2) qui s’écoule dans un sens descendant, sortie du courant réfrigérant (201 de l’échangeur (E2) et détente de sorte à produire un courant réfrigérant diphasique (203),réintroduction d’au moins une partie du courant réfrigérant diphasique (203) dans l’échangeur (E2) qui s’écoule dans les passages (10) dans un sens ascendant, vaporisation au moins partiellement de ladite au moins une partie de courant réfrigérant diphasique (203) contre le courant d’hydrocarbures (102) de façon à obtenir un courant d’hydrocarbures au moins partiellement liquéfié (220). Selon l’invention, au moins un passage (10) comprend une structure d’échange thermique (S) comprenant plusieurs séries de parois de guidage de fluide se succédant suivant la direction longitudinale (z) et présentant des bords d’attaque qui s’étendent orthogonalement à la direction longitudinale (z) de façon à faire face, en tout ou partie, au courant réfrigérant diphasique (203), et ayant une surface de section transversale (A) de bords d’attaque, mesurée orthogonalement à la direction longitudinale (z) et exprimée par mètre de longueur d’échangeur, décroissante suivant la direction longitudinale (z).
