On propose un procédé de codage d’une image d’une séquence vidéo, l’image comprenant au moins deux composantes, dont une composante représentative de la luminance et une composante représentative de la chrominance, chaque composante étant partitionnée en blocs, le procédé comportant un codage d’au moins un bloc de la composante de chrominance, à l’aide d’un mode dit BDPCM.
