Plaque de pile à combustible, cellule et pile à combustible du type à membrane échangeuse de protons, la plaque (1) comprenant deux faces opposées respectivement une face réactive destinée à faire face à un Assemblage Membrane Electrodes (4) et une face de refroidissement, la face réactive comprenant une zone (2) active munie de reliefs et creux formant au moins un canal de circulation pour un réactif, la zone réactive (2) étant entourée par une zone (3) périphérique, caractérisée en ce que selon une direction transversale au plan de la plaque (1), la zone (3) périphérique de la face réactive de la plaque est en retrait d’une épaisseur déterminée par rapport à l’épaisseur de la zone (2) réactive Figure de l’abrégé : Fig. 2
