Abstract

L’invention concerne un procédé de régulation de vitesse d’un véhicule automobile, ou véhicule hôte, mettant en œuvre une fonction de régulation de vitesse adaptative (fonction ACC), le procédé comportant les étapes consistant à : - maintenir (30) la vitesse du véhicule hôte égale à une vitesse de consigne et maintenir le véhicule hôte à une distance d’un véhicule le précédant, ou véhicule cible, supérieure à une distance de consigne ; - diminuer (32) la vitesse du véhicule, jusqu’à l’arrêt du véhicule hôte si le ralentissement du véhicule cible l’impose ; - maintenir (34) le véhicule hôte à l’arrêt tant que les conditions ne permettent pas un redécollage ; - lorsqu’un redécollage requiert une action du conducteur sur la pédale d’accélérateur, inhiber (36) l’émission d’un message informant que la fonction ACC est suspendue pendant une durée prédéterminée ; - augmenter (38) la vitesse du véhicule hôte jusqu’à la vitesse de consigne.
