Abstract

Dispositif électronique comprenant une puce électronique (2) incluant au moins un guide intégré d'ondes optiques (6) présentant une portion d'extrémité (7) qui s'étend parallèlement à une face (4) de la puce et selon une direction spécifique et pourvue d'une rainure locale (12) adjacente à ladite portion d'extrémité (7) du guide d'ondes optiques et s'étendant selon ladite direction spécifique, et un câble optique allongé (13) incluant au moins un guide d'ondes optiques (13a) et présentant une partie d'extrémité (16) qui est au moins en partie engagée dans ladite rainure locale (12) et s'étend parallèlement à ladite direction spécifique, dans une position telle que le guide d'ondes optiques (13a) du câble optique (13) est couplé optiquement au guide d'ondes optiques de la puce, par un couplage latéral dans la zone de ladite rainure locale (12). Assemblage comprenant un boîtier extérieur à l'intérieur duquel est logé le dispositif électronique ci-dessus.
