Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de détermination d'une consigne de distance entre un premier véhicule et un second véhicule le précédant sur une route, comportant des moyens de traitement (110) pour détecter un panneau de signalisation au sein d'un flux vidéo acquis par une caméra vidéo (101) embarquée sur ledit premier véhicule, puis pour déterminer si le panneau est relatif à une consigne de distance et dans ce cas la valeur indiquée sur ledit panneau, puis pour adapter une consigne courante en fonction de cette valeur.
