Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de détection (1) de basculement, destiné à équiper un véhicule, le dispositif comprenant : - un premier et un deuxième accéléromètres (11z, 11y) délivrant respectivement un premier signal (sz) représentatif d'une composante de l'accélération subie par le dispositif de détection selon un premier axe (z1), et un deuxième signal (sy) représentatif d'une composante de ladite accélération selon un deuxième axe (y1), ainsi qu' - une unité de traitement (12) électronique configurée pour déterminer, sur la base des premier et deuxième signaux, que le dispositif de détection a basculé lorsque cette unité de traitement détecte que le dispositif de détection effectué un tour autour d'un troisième axe (x1). L'invention concerne également un procédé de détection associé. L'invention concerne aussi un dispositif d'appel d'urgence, configuré pour émettre un appel d'urgence lorsqu'un basculement est détecté, ainsi qu'un procédé associé.
