Abstract

Véhicule automobile (1) comprenant, à au moins un côté latéralement à un axe longitudinal dudit véhicule : une roue avant, un profilé généralement vertical, dit pied avant (5), situé à l'arrière de la roue avant; une paroi transversale, dite passage de roue (7), adjacente au pied avant (5), et délimitant l'habitacle du véhicule (1); un renfort (9) fixé au pied avant (5) et au passage de roue (7), et configuré pour interférer avec la roue avant et limiter une intrusion de ladite roue dans l'habitacle en cas de collision frontale sur la partie du véhicule (1) située au niveau de la roue avant; caractérisé en ce que le ou chacun des renforts (9) comprend une portion centrale (9A) généralement plate s'étendant transversalement le long du pied avant (5) et du passage de roue (7).
