Dispositif d'aide à la conduite (1) d'un véhicule automobile (20), comprenant : - un moyen de détection (10) d'au moins un objet d'une scène de route précédant le véhicule (20), - un moyen de calcul (6) d'une information relative à la vitesse de l'objet de la scène de route et d'une donnée relative au véhicule (20) qui est fonction de l'information relative à la vitesse de l'objet, - un moyen d'affichage (30) configuré pour afficher au moins une représentation (34) de l'objet de la scène de route, caractérisé en ce que la donnée consiste en une distance de freinage du véhicule (20), le moyen d'affichage (30) étant configuré pour afficher une représentation (36) de la donnée Application au domaine automobile.
