Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de coiffure (2) comprenant un mandrin (6) monté mobile en rotation autour de son axe longitudinal, et un élément d'enroulement (11) configuré pour enrouler une mèche de cheveux autour du mandrin (6), l'élément d'enroulement (11) étant solidaire en rotation du mandrin (6) et comprenant une extrémité proximale montée pivotante par rapport au mandrin (6) entre une position écartée et une position rapprochée. L'appareil de coiffure comporte en outre un capot de protection mobile (14) qui est monté mobile entre une position fermée dans laquelle le capot de protection mobile (14) masque au moins partiellement le mandrin (6) et l'élément d'enroulement (11) pour limiter l'accès au mandrin (6) et à l'élément d'enroulement (11), et une position ouverte dans laquelle le capot de protection mobile (14) libère au moins en partie l'accès au mandrin (6) pour permettre l'insertion de la mèche de cheveux entre le mandrin (6) et l'élément d'enroulement (11).
