L'invention porte principalement sur un filtre à air (10) pour une ligne d'admission de moteur à combustion interne, notamment de véhicule automobile, ledit filtre à air (10) comportant: - une cuve (12), - un couvercle (18) fermant ladite cuve (12), et - une cartouche filtrante (24) logée à l'intérieur de ladite cuve (12) et délimitant avec ladite cuve (12) une chambre amont (26) et avec ledit couvercle (18) une chambre aval (28), caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle (18) et ladite cartouche filtrante (24) sont chacun réalisés en deux parties distinctes (181, 182).
