Abstract
L'invention concerne un ensemble (10) formant joint d'étanchéité comprenant des premier et second joints d'étanchéité (12, 14) globalement annulaires pouvant être disposés autour de l'arbre (1) de façon à être espacés axialement l'un de l'autre le long de l'axe central (Ac) de l'arbre (1). Chaque joint d'étanchéité (12, 14) comporte une surface d'étanchéité circonférentielle intérieure (18, 20) et des côtés axiaux intérieur (22A, 24A) et extérieur 22B, 24B), le côté axial intérieur (22A, 24A) de chaque joint d'étanchéité (12, 14) faisant face au côté axial intérieur de l'autre joint d'étanchéité. Le premier joint d'étanchéité (12) comporte une ou plusieurs cavités d'accouplement (26) s'étendant vers l'intérieur à partir du côté axial intérieur (22A) du premier joint d'étanchéité (12) et le second joint d'étanchéité (14) comporte une ou plusieurs cavités de retenue (28) s'étendant vers l'intérieur à partir du côté axial intérieur (24A) du second joint d'étanchéité (14), chaque cavité de retenue (28) étant alignée sur une cavité d'accouplement (26). Un ou plusieurs organes de sollicitation (16) comportent chacun une première extrémité (16a) disposée à l'intérieur d'une cavité d'accouplement (26) et une seconde extrémité opposée (16b) disposée à l'intérieur d'une cavité de retenue (28), l'organe de sollicitation (16) étant configuré pour exercer une force de sollicitation axiale sur chacun des premier et second joints d'étanchéité (12, 14).
