Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) d'émission/réception acoustique sous-marine à large bande. Ce dispositif a des applications notamment pour le positionnement, la détection, la télémétrie ou la communication acoustique sous-marine . L'invention consiste à combiner dans un dispositif d'émission/réception, un transducteur de type Tonpilz (2, 3, 4, 5) et un transducteur de type FFR (4, 6), de manière coaxiale, le FFR étant disposé devant la face émettrice/pavillon du Tonpilz. Dans une telle configuration, le pavillon du Tonpilz sert également de « tape » réflectrice du transducteur FFR, formant un élément tape-pavillon (4) commun. En outre, un baffle annulaire entourant le pilier du Tonpilz crée une cavité de Helmholtz permettant d'élargir la bande d'émission vers les basses fréquences.
