Abstract
Une éolienne (1) comprend une structure rotative (2) ayant un support (3) libre en rotation autour d'un axe central (4) sur lequel il est rapporté et une pluralité de pales (5) montées sur le support (3) de manière orientable de sorte que la structure rotative (2) varie entre une configuration déployée où chaque pale (5) occupe une position déployée par rapport au support (3) et une configuration repliée où chaque pale (5) occupe une position repliée par rapport au support (3). Les pales (5) présentent des formes spatiales telles qu'en configuration repliée, d'une part l'ensemble des pales (5) délimitent une surface fermée en trois dimensions dépourvue d'interstice par rapport au plan passant par l'axe central (4), et d'autre part un chevauchement successif des pales (5) adjacentes est présent.
