Description
L'objet de cette invention est d'offrir un autre moyen écologique que les batteries (dont la capacité et la vitesse de charge sont limités) pour stocker l'énergie.- 1 - One of the problems that we encounter in the development of renewable, wind, or photovoltaic energy, because of their intermittency, is the problem of storage during periods of excess production for redistribution in periods of cessation of production. production. Storage capacity becomes an important element of energy availability when one wishes to use renewable energies autonomously, in isolated places such as: islands, marine platforms, isolated farms, mountain villages ... The present invention relates to a compressed air motor for converting the energy stored in type tanks, for example scuba diving cylinders, rotational driving force to operate, an alternator, a dynamo or any other industrial system. The object of this invention is to provide an alternative ecological means that batteries (whose capacity and charging speed are limited) to store energy.
The principle of the device according to the present invention is to operate the piston of a cylinder on a crankpin / crank set on the side of a flywheel so as to rotate it during the movement to go and return of the piston in the cylinder. The closed end of the cylinder is connected to a pivot axis fixed to the motor frame, the other end, that of the piston tip, being fixed to the crank pin secured to the flywheel crank. The steering wheel is rotated by a cylindrical shaft guided by bearings forming the drive shaft of the device; it carries at its end a load output pulley. The motor shaft is provided with a so-called inlet cam, actuating a valve, for example a mechanically controlled valve, which sends a small bubble of compressed air per turn of the flywheel into the jack in order to cause a pulse of piston thrust that turns the steering wheel. When the intake manifold valve is not actuated, its derivative output is closed by a plug to enclose the bubble in the cylinder. The speed acquired by the rotation of the steering wheel causes the return movement of the piston. The motor shaft carries a second cam, said exhaust, which acts during the return of the piston, it actuates the control of a second distributor valve for opening, by a circuit connected bypass on the supply of the cylinder, an air outlet for purging the cylinder; which allows the return of the piston without opposition.
Compressed air stored in bottles, for example diving, at a high pressure (at least 220 bar for conventional diving cylinders) is delivered to the intake manifold valve at a constant pressure (less than or equal to 10 bar, compatible with the usual distributor valves) by means of a pressure reducer. A pressure regulator with an adjustable outlet pressure may optionally be used to calibrate the bubble pressure. The triggering of a bubble is made by a brief support of the intake cam on the spring control of its valve dispenser, triggering which occurs at the beginning of opening of the piston chamber. The actuation commands of the intake and exhaust valves can also be actuated by means, optical, 3036431 -2 electrical, or electromagnetic, indexed to the rotation of the engine. Let us call (a) the angle traveled by the median line of action of the cam from a line (A-A ') of the cam corresponding to the closure of the cylinder. The angle (a) will be between 15 and 45 degrees in order to obtain the triggering of a bubble at the beginning of opening of the cylinder chamber. The angular adjustment of the cam can be modified and fixed by means of a set screw located on a cylindrical boss of the cam; adjustment that adjusts the volume offered to a bubble introduced into the cylinder. The optimum volume of bubbles will be such that their expansion will use all the energy of relaxation; i.e. the volume produced by the expansion will bring the pressure back into the cylinder at atmospheric pressure. It is also possible to optimize the volume of the air bubbles by appropriate dimensioning of the cam. Another way of optimizing bubble efficiency is to use an adjustable outlet pressure regulator. The purpose of the various means of optimizing the bubbles is to reduce the consumption of compressed air at the minimum rate necessary to adapt the motor to its load; that is to say, to optimize the rate of transformation of stored energy into mechanical energy. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents a device front view according to the invention. FIG. 2 represents a profile view of the device according to the invention.
With reference to these drawings, the device comprises, a jack (1), fixed at its closed end to a pivoting shaft (2) integral with the chassis (3) of the engine. At the other end the free end of the piston is connected by means of a crankpin / crank assembly (4) to an outer lateral part of a flywheel (5) so that the forward and back movement of the piston turns the steering wheel; it is supported by a motor shaft (6) whose rotation is maintained by bearings (7) fixed to the frame; its end is provided with a load output pulley (8).
The driving shaft (6) is provided with an intake cam (9) - angularly adjustable on this shaft by means of a set screw (10) located on a cylindrical boss of the cam - this cam supports a turn by turn on the control of a compressed air intake distributor valve (11). The inlet of this valve is fed through a pressure reducer (12) to a high pressure compressed air reserve (13). The outlet of the distributor (11) sends a constant pressure air bubble to the inlet (14) of the cylinder chamber. The bypass outlet of the valve (11) is closed by a plug (15) to trap the air bubble in the cylinder after releasing the control valve (11). The angular adjustment of the cam (9) according to an angle (a) - formed by the cam action radius 3036431 - 3 - with the alignment (A - A ') of the cam obtained when the cylinder is closed - is between 15 and 45 degrees, which allows the triggering of an air bubble at the beginning of the opening of the cylinder chamber. The expansion of this compressed air bubble pushes the piston and rotates the flywheel. The speed acquired by the flywheel causes the return movement of the piston.
On peut également optimiser la consommation d'air comprimé par un dimensionnement approprié de la came d'admission (9).A second cam (16) fixed on the drive shaft, called the escape cam, actuates a second valve (17), which opens, by means of a circuit taken bypass on the power supply of the jack, a path of bleed air during the return movement of the piston so that it can be done without opposition. According to a variant of the device, the controls of the inlet valves 10 (11) and of the exhaust (17) of air in the cylinder can be actuated by any device of any type: optical, electrical or electromagnetic indexed to the rotation of the engine. The angular adjustment (a) of the cam is intended to optimize the air consumption at the best rate compatible with the load required by the engine. Optionally, an expansion valve (12) with adjustable outlet pressure can be used to adjust the pressure of the air bubbles to better match the motor to the required use. It is also possible to optimize the consumption of compressed air by appropriate dimensioning of the intake cam (9).
