Abstract

La présente invention concerne un document de sécurité authentifiable par un code formé de points colorés répartis aléatoirement et visibles à l'œil nu en lumière naturelle, caractérisé par le fait que : - les points colorés sont de dimensions hétérogènes, - les points colorés sont formés par la révélation d'un réseau préexistant de granules introduits par voie papetière dans le document ou à sa surface, lesquels granules étant constitués d'agrégats de particules élémentaires de plus petites tailles, lequel réseau de granules étant indétectable visuellement avant la révélation pour produire les points colorés, - la révélation des points colorés intervient dans une étape ultérieure à l'introduction des granules, au moyen d'un appareillage dédié ou par un procédé d'impression connu, - la révélation des points colorés permet de produire une signature de référence unique du document pouvant être extraite, cryptée asymétriquement et introduite sur le document sous forme d'un code imprimé, lequel code peut être lu par un appareillage adapté lors d'une étape ultérieure d'authentification.
