Description
The present invention relates generally to a vehicle air conditioning / heating device and more particularly to a modular air conditioning / heating device of a motor vehicle. It is known in the prior art air conditioning devices installed in an automobile according to an internal arrangement for dispensing hot, cold or temperate air to the passengers of the front seats of a vehicle or to the windshield when demisting or deicing. These air conditioning devices generally consist of a plastic casing, also called casing or housing, inside which are installed a heater for heating air taken outside, an evaporator for cooling the air taken outside, various shutters opening or closing the distribution of air to various air outlets (defrosting, aeration, foot ...) or to manage the hot air / cold air mixture according to the desired setting by the 15 vehicle user and dedicated air outlets for some defrosting windshield, for other ventilation of the occupants whether at the head or feet. In general, the position of the different air outlets (defrost, aeration, foot, etc.) differs from one manufacturer to another according to the internal architecture of the air conditioner, the position of the air blower, and the resulting overall packaging. On the other hand, the position of these air outlets is fixed and constitutes an imposed starting point for distributing the air under the dashboard to the aerators. In general, one of the difficulties encountered in designing an air stream, intended to irrigate the heads of the passengers before a vehicle, is the inconvenience caused by the structural beam of the dashboard which constitutes an obstacle to bypass to bring the air from the air outlet of the air conditioner to the aerators installed on the dashboard. Indeed, if the air outlet of the air conditioner is positioned at the bottom, it will then be complicated to design an optimal air stream shaped and section to distribute the air to aerators positioned in the upper part of the air. 3035619 - 2 - the dashboard. Conversely, if the air outlet of the air conditioner has been positioned at the top, it will be difficult to design an optimal air vein shaped and section to distribute the air to aerators positioned at the bottom of the dashboard .
And as generally an air conditioner is intended to be used on several vehicles, so necessarily with different dashboard styles and aerators in different positions, the difficulty of building air veins is recurrent and problematic. To overcome this problem, it was realized modular air conditioning / heating devices. For example, the document US 2015/0038067 discloses a conventional modular air conditioning / heating device in which the housing of the device comprises a plurality of air outlets for defrosting, the face of the driver / passenger or feet of it. These different air outlets are open or closed by a partially open flap that moves in a reciprocating movement on the inner surface of the housing. A problem with this type of device is that it does not solve the technical problem described above. An object of the present invention is therefore to meet the disadvantages of the document of the prior art mentioned above and in particular, first of all, to provide an easy to manufacture modular air conditioning / heating device that can be mounted on different types. of vehicles. For this purpose, a first aspect of the invention concerns a vehicle air conditioning / heating device comprising a housing, an air inlet, at least a first and a second air outlet, one of which is arranged to be connected to a air duct to a dashboard aerator vehicle, and characterized in that it further comprises a fixed shutter and arranged to close at least the other of the first and second air outlets so as to leave open only the air outlet arranged to be connected to said air duct to a dashboard aerator. Thus, the same air conditioning device can be used for different types of dashboard. A particularly advantageous embodiment consists in that the air conditioning / vehicle heating device further comprises a movable flap arranged to be moved between a first shutter position of the first air outlet and a second shutter position the second 5 air outlet. In this way, it is more possible to limit the pressure drops. Advantageously, the movable flap is sliding. So, it does not take much space. Advantageously, the at least two air outlets have an identical shape. Thus, only one type of shutter is necessary. A particularly interesting embodiment is that the first air outlet is arranged to be connected to an air duct to an aerator of a first dashboard model and the second air outlet is arranged to be connected to an air duct to an aerator of a second dashboard model different from the first dashboard model. In this way, the same device can be used for one or the other type of dashboard. Advantageously, the first air outlet is arranged to be connected to an air duct to an aerator located above a dashboard crossmember and the second air outlet is arranged to be connected to an air duct. air duct to an aerator located below a dashboard rail. In this way, the device is arranged to be used with two different types of dashboard. Advantageously, the at least two air outlets are front air outlets. Thus, the device can adapt to various types of frontal ventilation. A particularly interesting embodiment is that the vehicle air conditioning / heating device comprises N air outlets and in that the fixed shutter is arranged to close (NP) air outlets, P being a lower number to N and greater than O. so as to leave open only the air outlets arranged to be connected to different air ducts to dashboard aerators. In this way, the modularity of the device is improved. A second aspect of the invention is an arrangement of an air conditioning / heating device according to a first aspect of the invention in an aircraft board of a vehicle comprising at least one air duct to an aerator, characterized in that that at least one of said first and second air outlets of said air conditioning / heating device is arranged to be connected to said air duct to said aerator and in that said fixed shutter closes the other of said first and second air outlets.
A third aspect of the invention is a motor vehicle having at least one arrangement of an air conditioning / heating device according to a second aspect of the invention. Other features and advantages of the present invention will emerge more clearly on reading the following detailed description of an embodiment of the invention given by way of non-limiting example and illustrated by the appended drawing, in which: Fig. 1 shows a side view of a preferred embodiment of the modular air conditioning / heating device of the present invention.
15A preferred embodiment of the invention as shown in FIG. 1 relates to a vehicle air conditioning / heating device 1 comprising a casing 11, an air inlet 2, at least a first and a second outlet. 3a, 3b, preferably frontal and having an identical shape, one of which is arranged to be connected to an air duct to an aerator of a first dashboard model of the vehicle and the other is arranged to be connected to an air duct to an aerator of a second model of dashboard different from the first dashboard model. For example, the first model of the instrument panel is a model in which the air duct to an aerator is located above a dashboard crossmember, while the second model of plank 3035619 different from the first model, it is for example heard an air duct to an aerator located below a cross dashboard. The vehicle air conditioning / heating device 1 of the invention further comprises a fixed shutter 4 and arranged to close at least the other of the first and second air outlets 3a and 3b (3b in FIG. 1 ) which is not arranged to be connected to an air duct to an aerator so as to leave open only the air outlet 3a and 3b (3a in Figure 1) arranged to be connected to said air duct to a dashboard aerator according to the type of dashboard to which the device 10 is intended. FIG. 1 also shows that the vehicle air-conditioning / heating device 1 further comprises a sliding movable flap 5 arranged to be displaced between a first shut-off position of the first air outlet 3a as represented by the line in FIG. 1 and a second closed position of the second air outlet 3b as represented by the solid line in FIG. 1.
