L'invention proposée concerne un ventilateur (20) comportant : - un moteur d'entraînement (26), - un arbre (28) accouplé au moteur d'entraînement (26), - une roue (30) portée par l'arbre (28), - une structure de support (24) comportant : - un corps extérieur (38), - un conduit (40) comprenant une paroi latérale (48), le conduit (40) délimitant avec le corps extérieur (38) un espace intérieur (50), et - un logement (46) situé dans l'espace intérieur (50) et en contact avec la paroi latérale (48), le logement (46) délimitant un volume intérieur, - un roulement à billes (32, 34) interposé entre l'arbre (28) et la structure de support (24), et - un capteur (36) de mesure d'un paramètre mécanique représentatif du comportement dynamique du roulement (32, 34), ledit capteur (36) étant disposé dans le volume intérieur délimité par le logement (46).
