L'invention concerne une installation de chauffage (1) comprenant : - un appareil de chauffage à bois (2) comprenant un foyer (3) muni d'un orifice supérieur (4) et d'un orifice inférieur (7), - une sortie de bâtiment (5), - un conduit de liaison (6) interposé entre ledit orifice supérieur (4) du foyer (3) et ladite sortie de bâtiment (5), pour l'évacuation des produits de combustion générés par ledit appareil (2), - un système de conduits d'alimentation en air (9), interposé entre une entrée d'air (8) et ledit orifice inférieur (7) dudit foyer (3) pour l'alimentation en air comburant dudit foyer (3), et - une plaque de protection murale (10) posée en regard d'une paroi murale d'adossement (M) à protéger devant laquelle est positionné ledit appareil (2).
