Chaussure (1) de sport de montagne tel que ski alpin, ski de randonnée ou alpinisme comportant une semelle (3) et une tige (2), ladite semelle (3) comportant, au moins dans sa partie talon (31), une paroi latérale et un épaulement définissant une surface sensiblement plane et sensiblement perpendiculaire à ladite paroi latérale, un insert (5) dont une portion inférieure (54) est placée contre la paroi latérale de la semelle, et comprend au moins une encoche (51) prévue pour coopérer avec un élément d'un dispositif de fixation de la chaussure sur une planche de glisse. Ledit insert (5) comprend une portion supérieure (52) comportant une zone d'ancrage placée au dessus de l'épaulement.
