Abstract

Il est divulgué un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur de calcul d'une trajectoire latérale d'approche d'un aéronef, comprenant les étapes consistant à recevoir sélection d'une piste d'atterrissage; déterminer une zone Z1, ladite zone définissant des limites de trajectoire permettant de réaliser un dernier virage en vue de l'atterrissage sur la piste indiquée; recevoir indication d'un point de trajectoire FF définissant un point d'alignement de l'aéronef; déterminer une trajectoire de rejointe vers un point FAF2, la trajectoire de rejointe allant de l'aéronef au point FAF2 puis au point FF puis à la piste d'atterrissage indiquée sans traverser la zone Z1. Des développements décrivent l'utilisation d'une zone Z2 associée à des conditions de visibilité, le calcul de l'énergie à dissiper, l'utilisation d'un profil de descente prédéfini, l'émission d'alertes et des adaptations de trajectoire par augmentation de la longueur de la trajectoire de rejointe ou l'utilisation des aérofreins. 146 mots
