Abstract
The invention relates to an animal drinking trough providing a discontinuity of fluid between the reservoir and the drinking trough thus preserving the sanitary and hygienic integrity of the contents of the reservoir. It consists of a body (3) comprising the drinking portion (1) and the automatic liquid delivery management system (8) which can receive either a removable tank (2) or containers of the trade through adapter plugs specific. Discontinuity of the fluids and control of the liquid level in the trough are achieved either by the management of the air intake (5) or by the management of the flow from the duct (4). The drinking trough can receive a cold storage block cooling system (7) allowing the administration of perishable liquid while ensuring its sanitary safety. The drinking trough according to the invention is intended for the drinking of animals or the administration of liquid medicinal treatments while preserving the sanitary and hygienic integrity of the reservoir and avoiding waste.
Description
The present invention relates to a watering trough for animals, hygienic, autonomous and automatic, removable tank, which can receive perishable liquids through a cooling system. Designed initially for home use this device can be validly used professionally, breeding for example.
Indeed, current tank watering systems have a continuity of liquid between the reservoir zone and the beverage zone. This continuity does not preserve the hygienic and sanitary integrity of the liquid contained in the tank because a retrograde bacterial or parasitic migration is possible, particularly related to the commensal microbial flora of the mouth of the animal.
This drinking trough according to the invention makes it possible to remedy this problem. First, it ensures a physical separation between the contents of the tank and that of the water tank. This discontinuity makes it possible to preserve the hygienic and sanitary integrity of the contents of the reservoir, microbial migration becoming impossible. The administration of drug treatments by drinking water then becomes possible without health and wasteful risks. The device is autonomous: it does not require any external power supply, whether in water or electrical energy. This autonomy allows its use both at home and during travel. The waterer is automatic because it is equipped with a system allowing the automatic leveling of the liquid in the watering tank, either by managing the tank air intake, or directly by simply controlling the flow of the water. liquid to the drink area. According to the embodiment of the automation by management of the air intake, the air inlet is in the base of the drinking trough above the beverage zone according to the desired level of filling. It allows the communication of the outside air with that of the inside of the tank. When the desired level is reached in the watering tank, a shutter device of this air intake stops the intake of outside air thus preventing the flow of liquid from the tank, conversely when the level of liquid in the tank drops, the release of this device restarts the flow. According to the embodiment of the automation by flow management, a solenoid valve, normally closed at rest is placed in the liquid supply circuit in the base of the trough, downstream of the tank. This is actuated by an electric relay controlled by two electrodes located at the desired level for filling the water tank; when the liquid reaches this level, it ensures the electrical continuity between the electrodes and thus controls the closing of the solenoid valve and the stopping of the flow. Conversely when the level drops below the electrodes, the control circuit opens and causes the opening of the solenoid valve, thus allowing the flow of liquid. The set is powered by batteries or batteries of very low voltage, not presenting any danger for the animal. It also includes the relaying necessary for the smooth operation and economy of consumption of the automation. In this case the tank air intake is provided independently at the base / tank connection device.
Incidentally the presence of this permanent power supply can make it possible to indicate that the tank is empty. The tank is removable so that it can be easily cleaned. The body of the drinking trough integrates the insertion and connection area to receive either this specific reservoir, or additional containers like the various bottles marketed, and this using adapters plugs. According to the embodiments, the specific reservoir or the adapter plugs are equipped with a system ensuring the continuity of the air intake, but also an anti-flow system allowing easy handling and installation of the tank without loss of liquid. This system is automatically neutralized when the tank is in place. Depending on the modes of use the specific reservoir may be transparent or translucent and graduated so as to facilitate the dosage of drug treatments. The system can be equipped with a cooling system allowing the use of perishable liquids, milk in particular, ensuring a greater hygienic integrity compared to current systems. According to the embodiments, the cooling is done by removable cylindrical cold storage blocks and of diameter adapted to the reservoir used and surrounding the latter. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: Figure 1 shows in section the general device by management of the air intake. Figure 2 shows in section the device of the closable air intake. Figure 3 shows a variant of the air intake sealing system. Figure 4 shows in section the specific reservoir. Figure 5 shows in section the adapter plug system.
Figure 7 shows in section the general device by management of the flow. With reference to these drawings, the device according to FIG. 1 comprises a watering tank (1) (this tank may optionally be removable), a removable tank (2) connecting to a specific insertion zone (8), a body (3) integrating a filling duct (4) without contact with the contents of the watering tank, an air intake (5) closable by a device (6) with a valve according to Figure 2 or with a float according to the 3, a cold storage block cooling system (7) can be added thereto. The closure device of the air intake (6) is made according to FIG. 2 by a movable part pivoting about an axis (9) comprising a float (10) and a part closing off the outlet orifice of the air intake (5) driven by the float (10) when the liquid level rises in the water tank (1). The tightness of the closure is achieved by a seal (11), a variant of the closure system according to Figure 3 can be achieved by a float (12) maintained in a conduit (13) which closes the seal outlet orifice of the air intake (5) when the liquid level rises in the watering trough (1), the sealing being again carried out by a seal (36). The flow management device, according to FIG. 7, is characterized by the presence of a solenoid valve (41) inserted into the block of the drinking trough (3) downstream of the insertion well (8) of the tank and upstream of the filling duct (4).
L'étanchéité est, là encore, assurée par un joint torique (24).The solenoid valve is connected to a control unit (40) integrating an independent power supply (39) by a wired electrical connector. The opening / closing command of the solenoid valve is carried out by means of two electrodes (42) crimped in the block of the drinking trough (3) and flush with the watering tank (1) at the desired filling level, and connected to the control block by a wired connector. A power switch / control block (38) cuts the circuit when filling the tank, thus avoiding unnecessary wear of the power source. In this case the air intake (5) is independent and may open elsewhere than in the water tank. The removable tank according to Figure 4 consists of a body (14) incorporating an intake manifold (15) up to the top of the tank. The tank is filled by an opening (16) located on the top of the tank, closed by a screw cap (17) whose sealing is provided by a seal (18). The tank connection system, adapted to the insertion zone (8) of the drinking trough, is composed of an anti-flow system made by a moving part (19) held in the closed position by a spring (20). ) whose tension is ensured by two stop rings (21). The flow becomes possible only when the reservoir is inserted into the body of the drinking trough at the insertion well (26), the pin (37) raises the moving part (19) by compressing the spring (20) and thus creates a space between the movable piece (19) and the stop rings (21) thus allowing the liquid to flow through the filling duct (4). An O-ring (23) seals the connection device. The continuity between the air intake of the reservoir (15) and that of the body of the drinking trough (5) is ensured by a nipple (22) fitting into the insertion zone (8) at the outlet of the air intake (25). The sealing is, again, provided by an O-ring (24).
Le dispositif selon l'invention est particulièrement destiné à Pabreuvement régulier des animaux avec ou sans administration de traitement médicamenteux tout en préservant l'intégrité sanitaire et hygiénique du contenu du réservoir et en évitant les gaspillages.30The plug adapter according to Figure 5 uses the same operating system and connection that the tank, namely a movable part (19) held by a spring (20) between two stop rings (21) to fit into the well insert (26) and a nipple (22) to be inserted at the outlet of the air intake (25), the sealing being achieved by the presence of O-rings (23, 24). The body of the adapter plug (27) can receive a commercial bottle with its thread (28) and the seal is achieved by a seal (29). It has at the level of the air intake (30) an insertion zone (31) for fixing a tube (32) ensuring the operation of the fluid control. The insertion zone (8) according to Figure 6 has an insertion well (26) and an insertion zone for the air intake (25) in which are housed the base of the tank or cap adapter and the pacifier (22). The continuity between the insertion well (26) and the filling duct (4) is formed by a perforated fixed piece (33) on which is fixed the pin (24) ensuring the opening of the valve and thus allowing the flow of liquid from the tank. Recesses (34, 35) for receiving the O-rings (23, 24) and participate in the sealing and maintenance of the system. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the regular feeding of animals with or without administration of medicinal treatment while preserving the sanitary and hygienic integrity of the contents of the reservoir and avoiding wastage.
