Elle propose à cet effet un dispositif de commande tactile pour planche de bord de véhicule automobile, comportant : - une façade frontale transparente peinte sur sa face arrière 20 et présentant une pluralité de pictogrammes fonctionnels indiquant des zones spécifiques de commande ; - un film capacitif apposé contre la face arrière peinte de ladite façade frontale ; - une carte électronique à circuits imprimés reliée 25 électriquement audit film capacitif et comportant des moyens de contrôle dudit film capacitif ainsi qu'une pluralité de diodes électroluminescentes pour assurer le retro-éclairage des dits pictogrammes ; caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un panneau de commande tactile 30 délimité par un boîtier mince ouvert à l'avant et logeant ledit film capacitif ainsi que ladite carte électronique, avec ladite façade frontale qui ferme ledit boîtier ; ledit dispositif comportant en outre des moyens de fixation pour assurer le raccordement dudit panneau par l'une des tranches dudit boîtier à ladite planche de bord. La finesse du panneau de commande tactile du dispositif selon l'invention ainsi que son agencement particulier, donnent l'impression que ce panneau « flotte » au niveau de la planche de bord ce qui procure une sensation de légèreté particulièrement agréable. The first portion 71, fixed to the panel 10, is housed substantially integrally inside the housing 20 between its bottom wall which it completely covers the front face and the electronic card 30. This first portion 71 thus participates in the rigidity of the panel 10. As shown in Figure 3, the upper end of the first portion 71 protrudes from the upper edge of the housing 20 via a slot 22 formed along its length (Figure 2).

Pour réaliser le montage du dispositif 1 selon l'invention, l'opérateur doit tout d'abord insérer les deux pions 74 dans les deux évidements ménagés dans la paroi de fixation 3A de la planche de bord 2. En outre, cette configuration particulière du panneau de commande tactile 10 associée à sa finesse, permet de libérer un espace conséquent à l'arrière de ce dernier qui peut être aménagé en une zone de rangement particulièrement pratique pour les passagers avant du véhicule (figure 1).
