Claims (15)
- REVENDICATIONS1. Procédé de comblement de macropores d'un substrat fibreux poreux par formation de grains de matière solide contenant du carbone et/ou du carbure au sein des macroporosités du substrat caractérisé en ce qu'une composition fluide contenant au moins deux fluides réactifs différents précurseurs du matériau constitutif des grains de matière solide, et éventuellement un fluide de dilution, est diffusée au sein du substrat dans des conditions de température et de pression permettant de maintenir au moins l'un des fluides réactifs et/ou le fluide de dilution éventuellement présent à l'état souscritique ou supercritique et de provoquer spontanément une nucléation en phase homogène au sein des macropores du substrat à partir des fluides réactifs précurseurs pour former directement les grains de matière solide contenant du carbone et/ou du carbure .
- 2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les fluides réactifs précurseurs différents sont choisis parmi le méthane, le propane et le tétraméthylsilane.
- 3. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que la composition fluide contient deux fluides réactifs précurseurs choisis parmi le méthane et le propane, le tétraméthylsilane et le méthane et le tétraméthylsilane et le propane, avantageusement le méthane et le propane et le tétraméthylsilane et le méthane.
- 4. Procédé selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que les deux fluides réactifs précurseurs sont le méthane et le propane et en ce que les grains 25 de matière solide sont des grains de pyrocarbone. 3016 306 21
- 5. Procédé selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que les deux fluides réactifs précurseurs sont le tétraméthylsilane et le méthane et en ce que les grains de matière solide sont des grains de carbone et/ou de carbure de silicium. 5
- 6. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que la température est comprise entre 700°C et 1400°C, avantageusement entre 800°C et 1200°C.
- 7. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que la pression initiale est comprise entre 1 et 10 MPa, 10 avantageusement entre 1 et 7 MPa.
- 8. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que le substrat fibreux poreux est formé à partir de fibres de carbone ou de céramique, avantageusement de fibres de carbone.
- 9. Procédé selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que le substrat 15 fibreux poreux est une préforme en fibres de carbone.
- 10. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que le substrat fibreux poreux n'est pas conducteur électrique.
- 11. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10, caractérisé en ce que le substrat sur lequel est mis en oeuvre le procédé présente une 20 porosité ouverte, mesurée par pycnométrie à l'hélium ou par un porosimètre au mercure, d'au plus 80 %.
- 12. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11, caractérisé en ce que la composition fluide ne contient pas de fluide de dilution et en ce que c'est au moins l'un des fluides réactifs précurseurs qui se trouve à l'état souscritique ou supercritique.
- 13. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 12, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes d'introduction d'une quantité de composition fluide dans une enceinte contenant le substrat et d'établissement dans l'enceinte des conditions de température et de pression initiale permettant de provoquer une nucléation en phase homogène de grains de matière solide contenant du carbone et/ou du carbure au sein des macropores du substrat tout en maintenant à l'état souscritique ou supercritique au moins l'un des fluides réactifs et/ou le fluide de dilution éventuellement présent.
- 14. Procédé selon la revendication 13, caractérisé en ce que le procédé est répété plusieurs fois sur le même substrat avec une température plus élevée à chaque répétition, avantageusement au moins deux fois.
- 15. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 12, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes d'admission continue d'un flux de composition fluide dans une enceinte contenant le substrat, d'extraction continue d'un flux de fluide effluent hors de l'enceinte et de maintien de conditions de température du substrat et d'une pression dans l'enceinte permettant de provoquer une nucléation en phase homogène de grains de matière solide contenant du carbone et/ou du carbure au sein des macropores du substrat tout en maintenant à l'état souscritique ou supercritique au moins l'un des fluides réactif et/ou le fluide de dilution éventuellement présent.
