Selon d'autres particularités : - lesdites première, deuxième et troisième lèvres sont réunies l'une à l'autre par un ou plusieurs cordons en matière plastique souple surmoulée sur ladite plaque ; - ladite plaque a une section transversale sensiblement en forme de L, chacune des deux ailes de ce L étant destinée à être positionnée en affleurement avec respectivement deux surfaces de ladite partie supérieure du côté d'habitacle. Selon un autre aspect, l'invention concerne également un véhicule automobile équipé d'un enjoliveur selon l'invention. De préférence, ce véhicule automobile est caractérisé en ce que chacun des deux côtés d'habitacle comprend au-dessus de la porte latérale arrière une zone emboutie dans laquelle est fixée ledit enjoliveur. Conformément à l'invention, la partie supérieure la du côté d'habitacle 1 est équipée d'un enjoliveur 3 qui s'étend sur toute la longueur de la partie supérieure de la porte arrière 2.
