Abstract
Description
OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to an attachment loop for setting up and adjusting a strap, composed of a pair of superposed rings having rectangular frames of different dimensions, the first largest ring having a first rectangular opening disposed under a second rectangular opening in the second smaller ring, so as to define a transverse slot for passage of the strap , the slot being arranged between one of the outer edges of the second ring, and the adjacent side of the first opening of the first ring, the loop being in a locking position of the strap in the slot following the application of a clamping force, ie in a release position after a tilting movement of the second ring causing an increase in the passage area in the slot. STATE OF THE ART According to the loop described in document EP 614626, the second ring is mounted floating on the first ring, and is retained by a loop of sewn strap directly surrounding the two rear crosspieces of the rings. The other end of the strap is wedged in the slot between the two rings upon application of a pulling force on the lower strand. When the lower strand of the strap is no longer under tension, the wedging effect disappears, and the strap can then slide in the slot, especially when pushing on the end of the strap. To avoid this unintentional adjustment of the fastening loop, it is then necessary to re-tension the strap by pulling on the free end of the strap. According to another known fastening loop, the second upper ring is guided in translation along the opposite edges of the lower ring, and is pushed by elastic means to the locking position. The sliding of the second ring makes it impossible to open the loop completely, which limits the passage section of a strap provided with an end stop.
In this type of known fastening loops, it is difficult to exercise certain movements necessary for proper operation when the resistant strap is under tension. As shown in FIG. 4 of the prior art, the tension T of the strap 15 causes reactions on the upper cross member (see points of friction P) of the second ring 12, and hinders its displacement in translation, as well as the rotation of the loop. If the displacement or the rotation is not free, the operation of the loop is not optimum under load. In the case of a too rigid strap, the loop may then remain in the open state corresponding to a stable unlocked position. In the case of a not rigid enough strap, the buckle can get in the rectangular opening.
Le tube peut être réalisé en matière métallique ou plastique.OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is to make reliable the operation of a double-ring fastening loop trapped in a load-bearing strap, regardless of its rigidity. The buckle according to the invention is characterized in that it is equipped opposite the slot, a connecting means with play of the two rings with formation of a tubular housing extending parallel to the slot, said housing allowing load, freedom of movement along the axis of traction combined with a rotational movement of the rings. According to a preferred embodiment, the connecting means is formed by a tube arranged around the two rings, and having a diameter greater than the width of each of the superimposed webs of the first ring and the second ring. The strap is attached to the loop by surrounding the outside of the tube, and does not bear directly on the upper cross member of the second ring as in the prior art. The presence of the tubular housing between the inside of the tube and the rings allows a good operation of the loop when the resistant strap is under tension, thanks to the freedom of movement in translation along the axis of traction of the second (small) ring by compared to the first (big) ring. The tube may be made of metal or plastic material.
OF THE DRAWINGS Other advantages and features will emerge more clearly from the following description of a particular embodiment of the invention given by way of nonlimiting example and represented in the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a schematic sectional view of the buckle according to the invention, the strap being shown under tension, and the buckle in the locking position; Figure 2 is an identical view of Figure 1 when tightening the loop; - Figure 3 shows the loop after rotation of the rings. DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION In FIGS. 1 to 3, an attachment loop 10 is composed of a pair of superimposed rings 11, 12 having rectangular or trapezoidal structures of different dimensions. The first ring 11 the largest, has a first opening 13 disposed under a second rectangular opening 14 formed in the second ring 12 of smaller size. The width of the strap 15 is slightly less than that of the openings 13, 14 to avoid any friction of the strap 15 against the opposite lateral edges of the rings 11, 12.
The strap 15 passes through the two openings 13, 14 and the end of the strap 15 is then inserted into a transverse slot 16 located between the outer edge of the second ring 12, and the adjacent side of the first opening 13. in opposite directions, the first ring 11 forming a turn around the cross member 19 of the right side of the second ring 12. According to the invention, the loop 10 is equipped opposite the slot 16, with a connecting means ML surrounding with clearance the crosspieces 20, 21 superimposed two rings 11, 12, so as to define a tubular housing 18 extending parallel to the slot 16. The connecting means ML is preferably formed by a tube 17 having a diameter greater than the width of each of the crosspieces 20, 21 of the left of the first ring 11 and the second ring 12. The presence of the tube 17 allows load, freedom of movement along the axis of traction combined with a rotational movement of the year to (11, 12).
Ce déplacement en translation du deuxième anneau est libre grâce à la présence du tube 17.The tube may be made of metal or plastic material. The operation of the buckle 10 according to the invention is illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3: In FIG. 1, the buckle 10 is closed, and the strap strand 15 on the right is wedged in the slot 16 between the two rings 11, 12. A pulling force T exerted on the strap 15 causes the sliding along the arrow F1 of the second ring 12 to the locking position. To ensure the desired tightening, the user pulls (arrow F2, Figure 2) on the adjusting end W of the strap 15, causing the recoil of the second ring 12 in the direction of the arrow F3. The wedging effect disappears during this tightening phase. As soon as one stops pulling on the end W of the strap 15, the loop returns to the locking position of FIG. 1. This displacement in translation of the second ring is free thanks to the presence of the tube 17.
It is clear that the connecting means ML can be replaced by a hollow element of any section fulfilling the same function as the tube 17 of FIGS. 1 to 3.
