Description
Enfin, la maintenance d'une telle ceinture de fixation se trouve facilitée.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the general field of gas turbine casings, and more particularly to gas turbine fan casings for aeronautical engines. In a gas turbine engine, the crankcase is composed of an air intake sleeve part whose function is to define the air inlet duct in the engine, and a part forming the fan case. The particular function of the fan casing is to ensure retention of debris, such as ingested objects or fragments of damaged blades, projected by centrifugation, in order to prevent them from passing through the casing and reach other parts of the casing. the aircraft. The blower housing also supports a number of equipment or servitudes of the engine, such as, for example, pipes carrying de-icing fluid or the engine control unit. Commonly, a fan casing is formed by a metal wall defining the inlet vein. Between the ends of this wall are added circumferential webs of structural reinforcement, these sails can also be used to support engine equipment. Furthermore, it has been proposed to produce the fan casing made of fiber / resin type composite material by producing a fiber preform, impregnation with a resin and molding to obtain directly a desired shape. Indeed, compared to the metal, the composite makes it possible to obtain a significant gain in mass. However, the use of the composite material for the production of a fan casing poses the problem of fixing the equipment of the engine on the casing. In particular, the solution of sticking annular flanges on the housing wall to fix the equipment is not fully satisfactory. Indeed, the certification of a bonding of pieces that provide a structural function (namely the fastening flanges) is extremely complex to obtain. Likewise, the solution of bolting the fastening flanges to the casing wall is not satisfactory since it requires piercing the composite structure of the casing with all the disadvantages that this entails (non-continuity of the fibers, weakening of the casing). the structure, concentration of constraints at the level of the holes, etc.). Also known from WO 2009/147307 is a solution consisting in reporting on the outer periphery of the housing a belt forming a clamping collar enclosing the housing. This solution does not have the aforementioned drawbacks. However, this principle of fixing by strapping requires a closing point for the belt which, in case of breakage, leaves free the belt with all the consequences that this presents. OBJECT AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The main purpose of the present invention is therefore to overcome such drawbacks by proposing a solution for fixing equipment on a fan casing, in particular made of composite material, which does not require bonding or drilling. or resort to single closing points. This object is achieved by means of a gas turbine fan casing, comprising an annular casing wall centered on a longitudinal axis of the casing and at least one fastening belt mounted on the periphery of the casing wall for the attachment of equipment. on the housing, and wherein, in accordance with the invention, each fastening belt comprises two separate annular flanges each having a L-shaped cross-section, said flanges being fixed to one another and held on the wall of the crankcase by tightening the type by inverted cones. The fastening belt is mounted on the housing wall by a clamping type inverted cones. This type of clamping consists in ensuring a ring of the belt on the housing by a conical friction of its flanges on the housing wall. Thus, the maintenance of the belt on the casing wall takes place without resorting to collages or holes in the casing wall. Similarly, the belt can completely cover the circumference of the casing wall without the need for a single point of closure of the belt, which avoids the problems related to the breaking of such a point. Finally, the maintenance of such a fastening belt is facilitated.
Preferably, the two flanges of the same fastening belt are held by clamping on a ring of the casing wall having two opposite planes which are inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the casing.
Also preferably, each flange of the same fastening belt has a contact leg resting on one of the inclined planes of the crown and a clamping leg intended to be assembled to the clamping leg of the other flange. said belt. The crown planes may be inclined open cone inwardly of the housing wall, the housing further comprising clamping means for assembling the clamping legs of the two clamps of the fastening belt together by bringing them closer together. one of the other so as to ensure a clamping thereof on the wall of the housing. Alternatively, the planes of the ring gear can be inclined open cone out of the wall of the housing, the housing further comprising clamping means to assemble the clamping legs of the two flanges of the fastening belt together. spacing apart from one another so as to ensure a clamping thereof on the wall of the housing. The clamping means of these two embodiments may include screw / nut systems. The housing may comprise a plurality of fastening belts spaced axially from each other. At least some of these fastening belts may be assembled together to form a high performance fastening element (this element may for example be used to ensure attachment of the engine to the wing of the aircraft). More preferably, the housing wall is made of composite material with a fiber reinforcement densified by a matrix. The invention also relates to a gas turbine engine having a fan casing as defined above. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Other features and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the description given below, with reference to the accompanying drawings which illustrate an embodiment thereof which is not limiting in any way. In the figures: FIG. 1 is a very diagrammatic view of an aeronautical engine gas turbine; - Figure 2 is a partial view in axial section showing an attached fastening belt on the fan casing for a gas turbine such as that of Figure 1; FIG. 3 is an enlarged and exploded view of the fastening belt of FIG. 2; - Figure 4 is a view of a fastening belt of a fan casing according to another embodiment of the invention; and FIG. 5 illustrates yet another embodiment of a fan casing according to the invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The invention will be described below in the context of its application to the manufacture of a gas turbine engine airfoil fan casing. Such an engine, as shown very schematically in FIG. 1 comprises, from upstream to downstream in the direction of flow of gas flow, a fan 1 disposed at the engine inlet, a compressor 2, a combustion chamber 3, a high-pressure turbine (HP) 4 and a low-pressure turbine (LP) 5. The HP and LP turbines are respectively coupled to the compressor and to the fan by respective coaxial shafts and are centered on a longitudinal axis XX of the engine. .
The engine is housed inside a housing comprising several parts corresponding to different elements of the engine. Thus, the fan 1 is surrounded by a fan casing 10. FIG. 2 shows a fan casing profile 10 made of composite material according to one embodiment of the invention. The casing 10 comprises an annular wall 12 centered on the longitudinal axis X-X of the engine and whose inner surface 12a defines the air inlet duct. This may be provided with an abradable coating layer (not shown) in line with the trajectory of the blade tips of the fan, a blade 14 being partially shown in a very schematic manner. An acoustic treatment coating (not shown) may also be disposed on the inner surface of the casing, in particular upstream of the abradable coating. The housing 10 may be provided with external flanges 16, 18 at the upstream and downstream ends of the annular wall 12 to allow its mounting and its connection with other elements. Preferably, the housing 10 is made of composite material with fiber reinforcement densified by a matrix. The reinforcement is made of fibers, for example carbon, glass, aramid or ceramic, and the matrix is made of polymer, for example epoxide, bismaleimide or polyimide.
For this purpose, as indicated in document EP 1,961,923, the fibrous reinforcement can be formed by winding on a mandrel a fibrous texture produced by three-dimensional weaving, the mandrel having a profile corresponding to that of the casing to be produced. Advantageously, the fibrous reinforcement constitutes a complete tubular fibrous preform of the housing 10 formed in one piece with a portion corresponding to the annular wall and reinforcing portions corresponding to the outer flanges 16, 18. The fan casing 10 also comprises at least one belt 100, 100 'mounting which is mounted on the periphery of the housing wall 12 to allow the attachment of equipment on the housing. According to the invention, each fastening belt 100, 100 'comprises two separate annular flanges 102, 104 each having an L-shaped cross-section, these flanges being in opposition, fixed to one another and held on the wall 12 of the housing 10 by clamping the type by inverted cones. In the embodiment of Figures 2 and 3, the flanges 102, 104 are parts of 360 °. The two flanges 102, 104 of the same fastening belt 100, 100 'are more precisely clamped on a ring gear 106 of the casing wall 12, this ring 106 having two opposite planes 108, 110 which are inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis XX of the engine. Thus, in the embodiment of Figures 2 and 3, the planes 108, 110 of the ring 106 are inclined to form a cone which is open towards the inside of the housing wall. In longitudinal section, the ring 106 has a triangular shape whose apex is directed towards the outside of the housing. Alternatively, in the embodiment of Figure 4, the planes 108 ', 110' of the ring 106 'are inclined to form a cone which is open towards the outside of the housing wall. In longitudinal section, the ring 106 'thus has a shape of triangle whose 5 top is directed towards the inside of the housing. Furthermore, each flange 102, 104 of the same fastening belt 100 has a contact leg, respectively 102a, 104a, which is supported on one of the inclined planes of the ring 106, 106 'and a clamping leg respectively 102b, 104b, which is intended to be assembled to the clamping leg of the other flange of the fastening belt by clamping means described later. In addition, given the particular shape of the ring 106 of the embodiment of Figures 2 and 3, for each flange 102, 104 of the same fastening belt, the contact and clamping legs 15 form an angle between them which is greater than 900. Similarly, because of the particular shape of the ring 106 'of the embodiment of FIG. 4, the contact and clamping legs of the flanges 102, 104 of the same fastening belt of this embodiment form between them an angle 13 which is less than 900. The casing further comprises clamping means for assembling between them the clamping legs 102b, 104b of the two flanges 102, 104 of the fastening belt 100, 100 '. In the embodiment of Figures 2 and 3, these clamping means are in the form of screws 112 on which are tightened nuts 25, the screws passing through the clamping legs 102b, 104b of the two flanges 102, 104 according to a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis XX of the engine. In this way, by tightening the nuts 114 against the clamping legs 102, 104b of the two flanges, they will have a tendency to get closer to one another and to "go up" on the inclined planes 108, 110 respective of the ring gear 106 so as to ensure a tightening of the fastening belt 100 on the wall 12 of the housing. In the embodiment of FIG. 4, the clamping means are also in the form of screws 112 on which are tightened nuts 114, the screws passing through the clamping legs 102b, 2 99503 8 7 104b of the two clamps 102 , 104 in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis XX. The clamping means also comprise spring washers 116 which are interposed between the clamping legs 102b, 104b of the two flanges 102, 104. In this way, by tightening the nuts 114 against the clamping legs 102, 104b of the two clamps, these will tend to deviate from each other (under the effect of spring washers 116) and to "go up" on the respective inclined planes 108 ', 110' of the ring gear 106 'so as to ensure a tightening of the fastening belt 100 10 on the wall 12 of the housing. Note that the screws 112 used to ensure clamping of the fastening belt on the housing wall can also be used to fix elements 118 of equipment or servitudes of the engine. The mounting of the fastening belt 100 of the embodiment of FIGS. 2 and 3 is carried out as follows. The flanges thereof are brought around the housing wall (the flange 102 downstream and the flange 104 upstream) and axially displaced towards each other (case of Figure 3). The screws 112 are then introduced into their respective clamping legs and the nuts 114 are pressed against the latter 20 to maintain the fastening belt on the housing. For the mounting of the fastening belt 100 'of the embodiment of Figure 4, it is necessary that the two flanges 102, 104 are each made in two parts. For example, it is possible to envisage that the two parts of the same flange fit around the casing wall with a partial angular overlap in the form of a bevel. In connection with FIG. 5, another embodiment of a fan casing according to the invention will now be described. In this embodiment, it is provided that the fan casing 10 carries three fastening belts 100 spaced axially from each other and interconnected by their respective screws 112. Specifically, the screws 112 for securing the fastening belts 100 on the wall 12 of the housing are the same for the three belts. Such an assembly of several fastening belts together makes it possible to form an extremely powerful fastening element, which can for example be used to ensure attachment of the engine to the wing of the aircraft. Some characteristics common to all the embodiments described above will now be described.
The rings 106, 106 'on which the flanges of the fastening belts 100, 100' are mounted can be obtained by varying locally the thickness of the wall 12 of the casing during the manufacture thereof. Thus, this extra thickness can be obtained either by using yarns of larger weight at the extra thickness to be created during weaving of the fibrous texture wound on the mandrel, or by introducing an insert between the different layers of fibrous texture wound on the mandrel. In case of manufacture of the crankcase wall by lamination, the necessary extra thickness will be obtained by making different windings.
It is possible to locally reduce the height of the flanges 102, 104 (and more specifically of their respective clamping legs 102b, 104b) in the areas in which no attachment of equipment or servitude of the engine is provided. A gain in mass can thus be expected.
The contact dimension between the contact legs 102a, 104a of the flanges 102, 104 of the fastening belts and the inclined planes of the crowns 106, 106 'of the casing wall can vary between 1mm and several centimeters. However, in the case where the flanges are made of a material different from that of the casing wall, it will be necessary to take into account the differences in expansion between these materials to prevent such an increase in the diameter by expansion of the flanges. does not cause a slip on the crown.
