Abstract
The source has an electrochemical cell (1) i.e. lithium-ion cell, and two phase shift materials (2, 3) having different thermal properties and defining a system for passive thermal management. The electrochemical cell and the phase shift materials are embedded in porous structure matrix (4) comprising material presenting high qualities of thermal conduction. The phase shift materials are provided with different melting points and with different latent heating capacities, and the porous structure matrix includes carbon-graphite.
