Abstract

L'invention a trait à une structure de véhicule (2) avec un plancher 14, au moins un brancard (6) s'étendant selon une direction essentiellement parallèle à la direction longitudinale du véhicule depuis le plancher (2), un tablier (4) s'étendant essentiellement transversalement au brancard (6) et formant un passage de roue (8). La structure comprend, en outre, un renfort (10) s'étendant sur le brancard et le passage de roue de manière à soutenir le brancard et limiter sa flexion, notamment dans un plan généralement horizontal, lors d'une collision du véhicule. Ce maintien du brancard permet d'augmenter sa capacité à absorber l'énergie de la collision.
