Abstract

Le câble de frein, qui est soumis à une action de freinage, vient actionner la rotation d'un bloc d'arrêt de gaine. Cette rotation est transformée en translation d'un poussoir (13), qui applique un effort de serrage (« F ») sur un disque de frein par l'intermédiaire d'un piston (15) et de garnitures (16) montés sur le boîtier d'étrier du frein (10). Le dispositif selon l'invention de modification du positionnement du câble de frein présente la forme d'une entretoise (40), qui est fixée sur le fût (12) dudit boîtier d'étrier de frein (10), entre ce dernier et le bloc d'arrêt de gaine, de manière à constituer un rallongement du boîtier d'étrier de frein (10) et permettre la mise à la voie de l'essieu par l'ajustement de l'épaisseur dudit boîtier d'étrier de frein (10) tout en gardant le même parcours de frein.
