Abstract

The method involves determining predefined time period and a specific cumulative operating time for selected performance values. A ratio of efficiency is calculated by dividing a sum of values of the data in the operating time for the selected output, and by summing values of the data in the cumulative operating time for the selected values of the performance values. The calculated ratio of relative effectiveness is compared with ratio of threshold efficiency. An alarm (5) is triggered when the calculated efficiency ratio is lower than the threshold efficiency. An independent claim is also included for an electric vehicle.
