Abstract

The present invention relates to a transparent supported electrode, including a transparent nonconductive substrate (1) and, on at least one of the surfaces of the nonconductive substrate, a thin film essentially consisting of a plurality of non-contiguous conductive areas (2) covering 70% to 90% of the active area (3) of the substrate that is covered by the electrode, the conductive areas being separated from one another by a system of non-conductive joints (5), and each of said conductive areas (2) being electrically connected to at least three adjacent conductive areas via electrically conductive bridges (4). The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such an electrode and to a device containing such an electrode, in particular an electrochemical, electroluminescent or photovoltaic device.
