Abstract

The press has a fixed lower tool (1), and an upper tool (2) connected movably to a movable upper frame (5) by retaining pins (6). The pins are formed by the upper frame and engaged in retaining cavities (3) of the upper tool equipped with shock absorbing pads (4). A part of the upper tool is covered by a perforated guide plate (8) spaced away from edges of a hole (9) for passage of one of the retaining pins. The pads have an extreme part partially covered by the plate, where the plate comprises a recess for receiving the extreme part of the pads.

PRESSE D'EMBOUTISSAGE, NOTAMMENT POUR L'EMBOUTISSAGE DE PIÈCES DE TOLERIE DE VÉHICULES AUTOMOBILES La présente invention concerne une presse d'emboutissage, notamment bien que non exclusivement pour l'emboutissage de pièces de tôlerie de véhicules automobiles. ARRIÈRE-PLAN DE L'INVENTION D'une façon générale, une presse d'emboutissage comporte : un outil inférieur fixe; un outil supérieur mobile par rapport à un bâti supérieur lui-même monté mobile entre une position haute dans laquelle l'outil supérieur est suspendu au bâti supérieur par des broches de retenue portées par le bâti supérieur et engagées dans des cavités de retenue de l'outil supérieur équipées de tampons amortisseurs, et une position basse dans laquelle l'outil supérieur est en contact avec une tôle en appui sur l'outil inférieur ; et des plaques de guidage de l'outil supérieur par rapport au bâti supérieur. Dans les presses d'emboutissage existantes les plaques de guidage sont séparées des cavités de retenue. L'encombrement qui en résulte est donc très important et provoque un problème d'intégration de ces deux fonctions dans certaines configurations. Dans certains cas il est nécessaire de réaliser des excroissances de fonderie en passant au-dessus des zones de travail. OBJET DE L'INVENTION Un but de l'invention et de proposer une presse d'emboutissage dont les organes de réalisation de la fonction de guidage et de la fonction de retenue présentent un encombrement réduit. BRÈVE DESCRIPTION DE L'INVENTION En vue de la réalisation de ce but, on propose selon l'invention une presse d'emboutissage, notamment pour l'emboutissage de pièces de tôlerie de véhicules automobiles, comportant un outil inférieur fixe, et un outil supérieur relié de façon mobile à un bâti supérieur mobile par des broches de retenue portées par le bâti supérieur et engagées dans des cavités de retenue de l'outil supérieur équipées de tampons amortisseurs, dans laquelle au moins une partie de l'outil supérieur comportant une cavité de retenue est couverte par une plaque de guidage percée, à distance des bords, d'un orifice de passage d'une broche de retenue. Selon une observation qui fait elle-même partie de l'invention, il a en effet été constaté que la portion centrale des plaques de guidage joue un rôle mineur dans la réalisation de la fonction de guidage de sorte que l'utilisation de cette portion centrale des plaques de guidage pour faire passer les broches de retenue permet de réduire sensiblement l'encombrement tout en assurant une réalisation efficace des fonctions de guidage et de retenue. Selon une version avantageuse de l'invention, les tampons amortisseurs ont une face extrême partiellement recouverte par la plaque de guidage associée. Ainsi, on optimise la surface utile des plaques de guidage sans augmenter l'encombrement global. De préférence, en regard d'une partie extrême du tampon amortisseur, la plaque de guidage comporte un décrochement recevant la partie extrême du tampon amortisseur. Ainsi, on optimise également la surface de contact des broches de retenue avec les tampons amortisseurs. BRÈVE DESCRIPTION DES DESSINS D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention apparaîtront à la lecture de la description qui suit d'un mode de réalisation particulier non limitatif de l'invention en référence aux figures ci-jointes parmi lesquelles : -La figure 1 est une vue en perspective éclatée 35 d'une partie de l'outil supérieur comportant une cavité de retenue, et d'une plaque de guidage selon l'invention, - La figure 2 est une vue en perspective de la face arrière d'une plaque de guidage selon l'invention, - La figure 3 est une vue en coupe partielle selon la ligne III-III de la figure 1 d'une partie de presse d'emboutissage selon l'invention, en position ouverte, et - La figure 4 est une vue en coupe analogue à celle de la figure 3 de la presse d'emboutissage en position fermée. DESCRIPTION DETAILLÉE DE L'INVENTION En références aux figures, la presse d'emboutissage comporte de façon connue en soi : un outil inférieur fixe 1; un outil supérieur mobile 2 comportant des cavités de retenue 3 équipées à leur extrémité supérieure d'un tampon amortisseur en caoutchouc 4 ; un bâti supérieur mobile 5 dans lequel sont encastrées des broches de retenue 6 qui s'étendent dans les cavités 3 et prennent appui sur le dessous des tampons amortisseur 4 pour supporter l'outil supérieur 2 lorsque la presse est ouverte comme illustré par la figure 3. Dans cette position une tôle 11 peut être insérée entre l'outil supérieur et l'outil inférieur. Également de façon connue en soi la presse d'emboutissage comporte un organe presseur non représenté qui prend appui sur l'outil supérieur 2 lors de la fermeture de la presse d'emboutissage, pour assurer la fonction d'emboutissage proprement dite comme illustré par la figure 4. Selon l'invention, les parties 7 de l'outil supérieur 2 comportant les cavités 3 sont recouvertes par des plaques de guidage 8 chacune percée à distance des bords d'un orifice de passage 9 d'une broche de retenue 6. According to an observation which is itself part of the invention, it has indeed been found that the central portion of the guide plates plays a minor role in the realization of the guiding function so that the use of this central portion guide plates for passing the retaining pins substantially reduces the bulk while ensuring an effective realization of guiding and retaining functions. According to an advantageous version of the invention, the damping buffers have an end face partially covered by the associated guide plate. Thus, it optimizes the useful surface of the guide plates without increasing the overall size. Thus, it also optimizes the contact surface of the retaining pins with damping pads. L'invention concerne donc une presse dont au moins une partie entourant une cavité de retenue est recouverte d'une plaque de guidage percée d'un orifice pour le passage d'une broche de retenue. Bien que l'invention ait été décrite avec des plaques de guidage recouvrant partiellement le tampon amortisseur 4, on peut réaliser la presse d'emboutissage selon l'invention en prévoyant des orifices de passage 9 laissant l'extrémité des tampons amortisseur 4 totalement dégagée.
