Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD AND STATE OF THE ART The invention relates to a motor vehicle for harvesting plant materials, said vehicle comprising an automobile platform, a harvesting conveyor and a means of evacuation of plant materials. The invention finds application particularly in the harvesting of plants suspended in a shallow marine environment. In the marine environment, it is known to harvest plant material by boat, and temporarily store it at least inside or on the harvest boat. However, the boats used can not navigate in shallow water, of the order of 0.1 to 1 m, where most of the plant material to be harvested is concentrated. Amphibious vehicles have also been described (FR 2 772 736), but their working capacity is limited by their storage capacity of the harvested materials, and therefore by the size and weight of the vehicle. Description of the invention The invention proposes a new motor vehicle for harvesting plant materials. The vehicle comprises, in particular, an automobile platform, a harvesting conveyor and a means of evacuation of plant materials. The vehicle according to the invention is characterized in that: - the crop conveyor is positioned upstream of the platform, the crop conveyor comprises a low input and a high output downstream of the low input, and - the means of The evacuation comprises an evacuation conveyor comprising an upstream end adapted to receive the harvested material and a downstream end positioned outside the vehicle to evacuate the harvested material. Here and in all that follows, the concepts "upstream" and "downstream" are defined according to the direction of movement of the materials collected along the collection conveyor and the evacuation means. The vehicle according to the invention thus has an infinite harvesting capacity and has no storage means. The evacuation conveyor discharges the harvested material to an evacuation vehicle which follows the harvesting vehicle and which comprises storage means such as a container; the evacuation vehicle is for example a tractor towing a trailer. When the storage container is full, the evacuation vehicle is replaced by another evacuation vehicle having an empty container and will empty its full container to a storage area that may be remote from the harvesting area. In this way, the harvest is more efficient because it is carried out continuously: the harvesting vehicle does not need to stop the harvest to deposit the materials it has harvested. The crop conveyor may be rotatably mounted about an axis parallel to the upper outlet of the harvesting conveyor so that the lower entrance of the harvesting conveyor is positionable at a low level between 0.10 and 2 m from the ground, and that the top outlet of the crop conveyor is positionable at a high level higher than the low level.
The vehicle according to the invention can thus adapt to the harvesting area by varying the low level of the lower end of the harvesting conveyor; this makes it possible not to scrape the ground in order to recover only algae and not sand or mud. Also, the evacuation conveyor may be rotatably mounted about an axis parallel to the upstream end of the evacuation conveyor so that the downstream end of said evacuation conveyor is positionable at a downstream level of between 1 m and 3.5 meters from the ground and that the upstream end of the evacuation conveyor is positionable at an upstream level below the high level of the crop conveyor. Positioning the upstream end of the evacuation conveyor to a level below the high level of the crop conveyor makes it possible to recover on the evacuation conveyor the plant materials harvested by the harvesting conveyor. Positioning the downstream end of the evacuation conveyor at a downstream level between 1 m and 3.5 m from the ground makes it possible to adapt the vehicle according to the invention to the height of the container to the evacuation vehicle that follows it. The evacuation conveyor is thus inclined. According to one variant, the evacuation conveyor comprises an upstream portion positioned under the upper outlet of the harvesting conveyor for receiving the materials harvested by the harvesting conveyor, and a downstream portion on the outside of the vehicle according to the invention for evacuating the materials collected to the evacuation vehicle, distinct from the harvesting vehicle. According to another variant, the evacuation means comprises, in addition to the evacuation conveyor, an intermediate conveyor positioned upstream and in series of the evacuation conveyor, and extending substantially horizontally under the upper outlet of the harvesting conveyor, the upstream end of the evacuation conveyor being positioned under a downstream end of the intermediate conveyor. The intermediate conveyor thus extends substantially perpendicularly to the upper outlet of the crop conveyor, which allows it to receive all harvested materials that fall naturally at the output of the harvesting conveyor. The harvested materials exiting the intermediate conveyor then fall on the upstream end of the evacuation conveyor. The means of discharge being in two parts, an intermediate conveyor followed by an evacuation conveyor, it is possible to better position the two parts of the evacuation means according to their environment and their function. Thus, the intermediate conveyor preferably extends perpendicularly to the upper outlet of the conveyor, to receive all the material leaving the harvesting conveyor, and at a level equal to a platform level plus or minus 0 to 0.40 meter. The height of the platform corresponds substantially to the maximum water level in which the vehicle according to the invention can be used. The height of the intermediate conveyor is preferably chosen so that it is out of water during the harvesting of materials. In the same spirit, the evacuation conveyor can be rotatably mounted about a vertical axis, between a rest position where the evacuation conveyor extends substantially horizontally along an edge of the platform of the vehicle, and a harvesting position where a longitudinal direction of the evacuation conveyor is at an angle between 0 and 145 ° with a longitudinal direction of the platform. In the rest position, the evacuation conveyor is folded along the platform, which limits the overall width of the vehicle according to the invention, for example to allow it to travel on a road. The harvesting position of the evacuation conveyor allows it to evacuate the collected material to the next evacuation vehicle.
All the conveyors used in the context of the invention conventionally consist of a loop-shaped strip driven in rotation by two rollers located at the ends of the conveyors and possibly other rollers positioned in the same plane and between the two rollers. 'ends. As the web rotates about itself around the two end rollers, an object supported by a conveyor is driven in translation along a main plane of the conveyor. Subsequently, by abuse of language, it will be said that a conveyor is driven in translation when the rollers of the conveyors are rotated and that the conveyor belt drives (or is likely to cause) in translation an object along the main plane of the conveyor, said main plane remaining fixed. And it will be said that a conveyor is rotated or rotated when its main plane is rotated or rotated.
According to a preferred embodiment, at least one of the conveyors, and preferably at least the crop conveyor, comprises a mesh or perforated band shaped in a loop and driven in rotation by two rollers respectively forming the two ends of the conveyor. The mesh or perforated strip makes it possible to drain the harvested materials when they leave the water so as to limit the weight of the materials to be evacuated. Of course, all conveyors can be made similarly with a screen band, a perforated band, or any other type of band having drip holes. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention will be better understood, and other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge in the light of the following description of embodiments of a harvesting vehicle according to the invention. These examples are given in a non-limiting manner. The description is to be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the vehicle according to the invention - Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the crop conveyor according to the invention, the figure 3 represents a perspective view of the evacuation means; FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of the vehicle with the evacuation conveyor in the rest position. DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION As previously stated, a vehicle according to the invention essentially comprises a platform, a harvesting conveyor and a means of evacuation of the harvested materials.
In Figure 1, the platform 10 is automotive: four wheels 12a, 12b motor are fixed under the platform which supports a drive motor 13, and a cabin 14 driving. Furthermore, the platform 10 supports all the mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and / or electronic elements necessary for the movement of the vehicle and the overall operation of the vehicle, especially, as regards more specifically the invention, guiding and setting in motion the harvesting conveyor 20 and the means of evacuation 40 of the harvested materials.
The crop conveyor 20 is positioned upstream of the platform. The harvesting conveyor comprises a loop-shaped strip 25 driven in rotation by two rollers 26, 27 respectively forming a low input 21 and a high output 22 downstream of the low input. The crop conveyor 20 is inclined so that the low entrance of the conveyor is under water, at a depth depending on the height of water to be cleaned, and so that the high exit of the conveyor is out of water for the harvested materials to drip. In the example fig 1, the crop conveyor 20 comprises a conveyor. In the example shown in FIG. 2, the harvesting conveyor 20 comprises two conveyors associated in parallel to form a double width conveyor. The width of the conveyor is conditioned by the desired overall width for the vehicle. The length of the conveyor is conditioned in particular by the desired maximum water height, the height of the platform and the desired inclination for the conveyor. As an indication, the length (according to the direction of travel of the harvested materials) of the harvest conveyor is of the order of 2 to 3 m and the width (in a direction transversal to the direction of travel of the harvested materials) is from order of 4 to 6 m. In the example in Figure 2, the strip 25 is screened to allow the flow of water as the vehicle progresses in the water, and facilitate the dripping of the output of the conveyor material.
In the examples shown, the crop conveyor 20 is rotatably mounted about an axis 23 parallel to the upper outlet 22 of the harvesting conveyor so that the bottom inlet 21 of the crop conveyor is positionable at a low level between 0 , 10 and 2 m from the ground, and that the high output of the crop conveyor is positionable at a high level higher than the low level. The conveyor 20 is rotated by a system of hydraulic cylinders. Feet 28, 29 are attached to the ends of the roller located at the lower entrance of the harvesting conveyor, on the supports of the roller 26. At the end of the vehicle, the conveyor 20 can be put in abutment on these feet to relieve the hydraulic cylinder system. Also, the lower entrance of the harvesting conveyor is extended by harvesting arms 30, 31 fixed for example to the support of the roller 26. The arms can be articulated. They make it possible to fold down towards the conveyor 20 materials and to thus widen the harvesting area. Finally, the harvesting conveyor comprises racks 32, 33 for guiding harvested materials extending on the sides of the harvesting conveyor between the inlet and the outlet of the harvesting conveyor. In the examples shown, the evacuation means 40 comprises an evacuation conveyor 41 and an intermediate conveyor 46. The intermediate conveyor 46 is positioned upstream and in series of the evacuation conveyor 41, and extends more precisely substantially horizontally. under the crop conveyor 20, along the upper outlet 22, in the transverse direction of the crop conveyor 10. The intermediate conveyor thus receives all the material harvested by the conveyor 10. The discharge conveyor comprises an upstream end 42 and a downstream end 43. The upstream end 42 of the evacuation conveyor is positioned under a downstream end 47 of the intermediate conveyor. All collected materials accumulated on the conveyor 46 are thus driven by the conveyor 46 to the evacuation conveyor 46.
The downstream end 43 of the conveyor 41 is positioned outside the vehicle to evacuate the harvested material to a follower vehicle comprising a storage container. The evacuation conveyor 40 is rotatably mounted about an axis 44 parallel to the upstream end of the evacuation conveyor so that the downstream end of said evacuation conveyor is positionable at a downstream level of between 1 m and 3 m. , 5 meters from the ground, depending on the height of the container, and that the upstream end of the discharge conveyor is positionable at a lower upstream level to the high level of the crop conveyor. Intermediate conveyor 46 and evacuation conveyor 41 may both comprise a screened or perforated strip to continue dewatering harvested material. The evacuation conveyor 40 is also rotatably mounted around a vertical axis 45, between a rest position (FIG. 4) in which the evacuation conveyor extends substantially horizontally along an edge of the platform of the vehicle. and a harvesting position (Fig. 3) wherein a longitudinal direction of the evacuation conveyor is at an angle of between 0 and about 145 ° with a longitudinal direction of the platform.
