Abstract

The device has granular materials compartmentalized and wrapped in bags or sheaths that are wrapped in a geogrid. Compartments accommodate bags of materials or bags of sleeves filled with materials. Ducts are sealed or made with a synthetic drainage to occupy the materials. A sub-partition of the bags allows easy replacement of a defective bag without manipulating the bag.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for ballasting and attachment of materials: pebbles, earth, sand, ... especially on slopes with steep slopes. There are different weighting or fastening methods on the market, but they are limited to sloping slopes and the maintenance of materials is random.

The device according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. It consists of a geogrid, which is rolled up and held closed by means of links, making it possible to make compartments of lengths and sections on demand, in order to confine materials. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: Figure 1 shows a view of the Geogrid, flat, as currently used for soil reinforcement. Figure 2 shows the geogrid wound and held by a collar forming a subdivision. Fig. 3 shows bags or rolls containing materials which have been placed inside the compartments. The compartments can accommodate either bags filled with materials or bags or sheaths to be filled with these same materials. The sheaths may be waterproof or made using a draining synthetic, depending in particular materials they must contain. Compartmentalization makes it easy to replace a defective bag without handling those around it. The subdivision being realized with Geogrid, it is this one that will take all the efforts, without the bags or the sheaths being solicited. The bags will have a much longer life than when they are attached to each other by means of rope for example. The resistance of the Geogrid will be calculated according to the efforts it will have to take. On the market, they are proposed for resistances of 20 to 200kN / m and more. They are used flat for soil strengthening. By way of non-limiting example, the device according to the invention can cover slopes of several tens of meters in length. In some cases, it may even be placed vertically.
