Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a tool holder for grinding device or soil mixing, provided with means for receiving and fixing a grinding tool or kneading said means comprising at least one screw for fixing the tool on the door - tool. The invention also relates to a tool for grinding device or soil mixing to be mounted on a tool holder by means of at least one fixing screw of said tool on said tool holder.
Finally, the invention also relates to a grinding device or soil mixing, particularly in the form of a drum provided on its periphery, random or organized, of several of these tool holders with their associated tool. The present invention will find particular application in the field of devices stone grinders or strawberries soil mixers. It relates more particularly to devices that are subject to significant abrasion. In the field of stone grinding and deep soil mixing operations, tool-holder blocks mounted on mobile stone grinding or soil kneading assemblies having a motorized rotary drum on which a plurality of grinding tools mounted, each on a tool holder and judiciously distributed on the periphery of the drum. It can be mounted in rotation under a motorized tractor or integrated in a support frame that can be coupled to such a machine. Under the effect of the rotation of the drum, the tools carried by the latter can provide a function of mixing the soil and / or grinding stones. The tool holders are preferably welded to the drum. They comprise a steel body, substantially parallelepipedic, and are provided with means for receiving and fixing the tool, itself in the form of a steel body, of approximately parallelepiped shape. This tool also has a leading face on which is reported in a rigid manner or removable a tip often in the form of a carbide steel plate for attacking the stones to be ground or the soil to be kneaded. The means for receiving and fixing the tool on the tool holder involve fixing screws immobilizing the tool on its tool holder. More particularly, the screw passes right through, in the working direction, both the tool holder and the tool. A thread is machined in the tool holder or in the tool, or an additional nut is used to tighten the screw. Under the effect of successive shocks, the tools are subject to significant constraints, involving efforts that the tool / toolholder assembly must be able to resume. The screws are therefore particularly stressed, and break frequently.
The present invention proposes to overcome this disadvantage in such a way as to reduce the maintenance interventions, particularly as a tool replacement due to screw breakage. For this purpose, the invention relates to a tool holder for grinding device or soil mixing, provided with means for receiving and fixing a grinding tool or kneading said means comprising at least one screw for fixing the tool on the tool holder, characterized in that it comprises bearing surfaces, intended to support the tool on the tool holder, allowing the recovery of forces between the tool and the tool holder in at least one direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of said screw and in both directions. According to a particular embodiment of the invention, said tool holder has two substantially parallel lateral faces and said direction is in the plane of said lateral faces. But the most important efforts to resume are actually in this plan. The screws are generally arranged in the direction of movement, so that the support forces of the tool on an obstacle are resumed by compression of the tool between said obstacle and the tool holder. The tensile forces to be taken up by the screws are then those resulting from the overhang between an attacking blade attached to the tool and the bearing face perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the screws. The forces in the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the screws are for example related to the tearing off of a root or pebble, and are mainly in the radial direction of the drum of the device. This is the direction that is in the plane defined by the circular motion of the tool, and at the same time in the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the screw. According to this embodiment, it is therefore obtained that the screws work mainly in axial force, therefore traction, and the shear component is largely eliminated. According to the invention, said bearing surfaces are two substantially parallel faces of a tenon or mortise of positioning of the tool. They can also be the upper and lower faces of the tool holder or tool. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, said bearing surfaces allow the forces between the tool and the tool holder to be taken up in at least two distinct directions perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of said screw, thus taking up all the forces perpendicular to the axis of said screw, and thus to arrange the screw so that it is solicited only axially. Such an embodiment makes it possible to completely eliminate the shear stress of the screws, which makes it possible to reduce the cases of rupture of these screws. The invention also relates to a tool for grinding device or soil mixing intended to be mounted on a tool holder by means of at least one fixing screw of said tool on said tool holder, characterized in that it comprises bearing surfaces, intended to support the tool on the tool holder, allowing the recovery of forces between the tool and the tool holder in at least one direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of said screw.
The advantage of the present invention is that the screws are little or not at all stressed in shear and work exclusively in tension. For a given screw size, this obviously makes it possible to reduce the cases of rupture. Other features and advantages of the invention will emerge from the following detailed description relating to an exemplary embodiment given by way of indication and not limitation. The understanding of this description will be facilitated with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: - Figure 1 shows an exploded perspective view of the tool and its tool holder; - Figure 2 shows a longitudinal section of a tool block / tool holder of the type of Figure 1; FIG. 3 represents a longitudinal section of a tool / tool block according to a second embodiment; FIG. 4 represents a longitudinal section of a tool / tool block according to a third embodiment; FIG. is a longitudinal section of a tool / tool block according to a fourth embodiment; FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view of a tool / tool block according to a fifth embodiment. As shown in Figures 1 to 6 of the attached drawing, the present invention relates to a block 1 tool holder 2, tool 3, for grinding device or soil mixing, usually borrowing the form of a drum 5 driven in rotation by suitable motor means and, as appropriate, implanted under a motorized tractor or integrated into a support frame that can be coupled to a suitable machine.
Around such a drum 5 is mounted, usually a plurality of these tool holder blocks 1 to be able to work the soil and grind the pebbles effectively. Regarding the tool holder 2, it is usually in the form of a metal body whose lower face 4 can be shaped, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, so as to fit the contour of the drum 5 on which it is intended to be mounted, in particular by welding, this drum 5 having been illustrated schematically and partially in FIG.
The tool 3 is assembled on the tool holder 2 by means of two screws 6. In the mounted position, the heads of the screws 6 rest on the rear face 7 of the tool holder 2, and the threaded portion 8 of the screws 6 engages in a tapping 9 of the tool 3 to tighten against the tool holder 2. Two holes 10 are formed in the tool holder 2 to let the two screws 6. On the furthest part of the drum 5 of the tool 3 is reported a blade 11 for cutting the material. In the embodiment of Figures 1 and 2, a pin 12 for positioning the tool 3, with parallel faces 13 engages forcefully in a corresponding housing 14 of the tool 3, so as to take up the vertical forces releasing the screws 6 of this task. To guarantee this result, it suffices to give clearance to the holes 10 made in the tool holder 2 for the passage of the screws 6 so that the screws 6 do not bear laterally in these holes 10 on the tool holder 2. In an alternative embodiment not shown, it is the tool 3 which comprises a pin, and the tool holder 2 a corresponding housing, which can be called mortise 14. In a second embodiment shown in Figure 3, the vertical forces are taken up by the top 15 and lower 16 of the tool holder 2, trapped in a housing 17 of the tool 3. This is the upper surfaces 15 and lower 16 of the tool holder 2 at the level of its assembly face 18 with the tool 3. It is clear that the tool holder 2 extends in its rear portion 19 towards the drum 5 to be attached thereto, while the tool 3 must not interfere with said drum 5. The tool 3 needs to surround the tool holder 2 only a few millimeters on the side of their assembly face 18.
In an alternative embodiment not shown, it is the upper and lower faces of the tool 3 which take up the vertical forces. Again, the tool holder 2 surrounds the tool 3 only on the side of their assembly face a few millimeters, the tool 3 must necessarily extend beyond the tool holder 2 at the blade 11.
In a third embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the tool 3 is supported on the upper face 15 of the tool holder 2. It is held upwardly by a face 24 substantially parallel to the upper face 15, and arranged for example between the two screws 6.
In a fourth embodiment shown in FIG. 5, the vertical forces are taken up by an assembly at least partially of the dovetail type, the parallel faces 13 of the post of FIG. 2 being replaced here by at least one inclined surface. This type of embodiment also makes it possible to take up efforts in the longitudinal direction of the screws 6, and thus to further relieve said screws 6. In all these embodiments, the bearing surfaces 13, 15, 16, 20 and 24 created to relieve the screws 6 take up efforts in the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the screws 6 which corresponds here to the plane of the assembly face 18 between tool 3 and tool holder 2, and at the same time in the plane of the movement of the tool 3 which corresponds to the plane of the lateral faces 21 of the tool holder 2, the intersection of these two planes giving the vertical. It can thus be said that these bearing surfaces take up vertical forces, considered in a reference system such as that which gives the representation of FIGS. 2 to 5. Only in the fourth embodiment described above the inclined face 20 of the dovetail also takes up efforts in the longitudinal direction of the screws 6, but still in the plane of movement of the tools 3. In a fifth embodiment shown in Figure 6, it is the faces 23 of pins 22 for positioning, engaging in corresponding housing of the tool 3, not shown, which take up efforts in the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 6. A single pin 22 resumes vertical and horizontal forces in this plane, but if it is a circular pin 22, it can allow a rotational movement of the tool 3 which would request in shear the screws 6. In having a single non-circular pin 22, for example rectangular, or two circular pins 22, which facilitates the realization, all efforts in said plane can be resumed, and the screws 6 must only resist tensile , which significantly reduces the overall stress to which they are subjected, and thus increases their lifetime.
Although the invention has been described with respect to a particular embodiment, it is understood that it is in no way limited and that various modifications of shapes, materials and combinations thereof can be made. various elements without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention.
