Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for making infusions of the inversion type comprising, in a housing, a kettle intended to contain water which can be brought to an infusion temperature, a connected infusion head to said kettle and comprising an infusion chamber formed by a load-receiving part to be infused having an inlet communicating with the kettle and a movable closure member of said receiving piece and connected to a flow port infusion, said kettle being connected to a pressurizing means for expelling hot water contained in said kettle. An electric apparatus of the reversal type is already known, as described, for example, in patent application FR 2896676 in which heated water that has been heated in an independent container is brought into a tank. This simple construction device can work anywhere. However, this type of device requires a hot water source independent of the device which is unfortunate in certain situations when the production of hot water can be performed on the site from a power source such as for example that available on vehicles. The invention therefore aims to overcome this disadvantage and improve this type of device while preserving its great convenience of use at home or outside and ensuring a perfect infusion with great operational safety of the kettle.
According to the invention, the inlet orifice comprises a valve capable of occupying three positions, namely an intake position for which the closure part and the load are absent and in which the inlet orifice is open to allow the water filling of the kettle, a temporary closing position for which the load and the closing piece are present and in which it is brought by the load to be infused compressed between the receiving and closing parts and forms a seal between the chamber and the kettle and an infusion position for which the kettle is returned to initiate the infusion phase and in which the valve is maintained by the water pressure and leaves a clearance between the inlet port and the brewing chamber. Thus, thanks to this particular construction, it is realized with a single movable valve element, at the same time, the function of easy filling of a kettle, the protection function of the load to infuse against the steam, the heating function of water to boiling and custom brewing function. In addition, this simplified construction meets the goal of optimizing manufacturing costs while providing ergonomics conferring automation for the fulfillment of different functions. The features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description, taken by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a partial view of an apparatus in one phase brewing infusion in vertical section illustrating a kettle equipped with an infusion head with a valve according to the invention; Figure 2 is a partial view of the apparatus in the inverted position with respect to Figure 1 and filling illustrating in vertical section the kettle with a head receiving part equipped with the valve according to the invention. Figure 3 is a view similar to that of Figure 1 but in a returned position of heating the water of the kettle. In Figure 1, there is shown partially a device for making infusions type reversal. By reversal type means an appliance that can occupy two positions opposite to 180 °, either a water filling position of the kettle and heating the water, or an inverted position corresponding to the brewing phase above a cup or jug. The apparatus shown comprises, in a housing 1, a kettle 2 intended to supply water at an infusion temperature, an infusion head represented as a whole by reference numeral 3 and connected to said kettle and comprising a chamber infusion 4 formed by a receiving part 5 of a load 6 to infuse and has an inlet port 7 communicating with the kettle 2. For infusible load means in particular a flexible or rigid bag containing the grist of coffee, but we can also provide tea, chocolate powder etc. For the rest of the description, the feed to be infused will be a flexible bag of coffee grounds. The infusion head also comprises a movable piece 8 for closing said receiving piece and connected to a flow orifice 9 of the infusion. This closure piece is movably and removably mounted on the housing or the receiving part by any known means and preferably by a bayonet system referenced 10. To ensure proper filtration operation of the infusion, the piece of Closure 8 also contains a perforated load carrying member 11 also having a filtration function in case of breakage of the load package. The casing 1 comprises, in a conventional manner, a pressurizing means connected to said kettle for expelling the hot water contained in said kettle. This means is of the compressed air type and, in this case, comprises an air pump connected and controlled by a distributor 12 to a pipe 12 'shown schematically in broken lines and connected to a conduit 13 opening into the kettle 2 at the level of 14. The closure member 8 has a trough shape with a side wall 15 whose bottom has the flow orifice 9 and remotely carries the perforated element 11 support. According to the invention, the inlet orifice 7 comprises a valve 16 capable of occupying three positions, namely an intake position (FIG. 2) for which the closure piece and the load are absent and in which the orifice inlet 7 is open to allow water filling of the kettle 2, a temporary closing position (FIG. 3) for which the load and the closure piece are present and into which it is fed by the load 6 to be compressed infused between the receiving and closure parts 8 and forms a seal between the chamber 4 and the kettle 2 and an infusion position (FIG. 1) for which the kettle 2 is turned over to start the infusion phase and in which the valve 16 is maintained by the water pressure and leaves a clearance J between the inlet port 7 and the brewing chamber. This single movable valve embodiment intended to occupy different positions with respect to the inlet orifice makes it possible to perform several functions, namely the filling of the kettle with water, the sealing of the load during heating, the heating of the water with the load in position in the infusion head and the launch of the user's custom infusion. The second function of heating the water is very important because it is absolutely necessary that, in the case where the load is placed in the brewing chamber before the start of the heating, the load is isolated from the steam and / or the water. Boiling water from the kettle to allow excellent brewing. As shown, the receiving part 5 has the shape of a trough whose central bottom region has the inlet port 7 shaped as a seat 18 and the valve 16 has a body of complementary shape to said seat and having a face external support 19 for the load 6 to infuse, and associated with a calibrated elastic member 20 interposed between the receiving part 5 and the inner face 21 of the valve 16 and for holding the valve in the intake position away from the seat inside the infusion chamber by providing a peripheral space for the passage of the filling water (see arrow F of Figure 2) .The part 5 carries a fixed bearing P support for the organ elastic.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the valve 16 is made of a translucent plastic material and has the general shape of a mushroom whose head forms the outer support face 19 for the load 6 and whose foot 22 has a height defined to serve as the maximum water level for filling the kettle 2 when the valve is in its intake position. Preferably, the end of the foot has a conical shape to obtain more precision on the height of water reached during filling. Indeed, as soon as the water reaches the end of the foot 22, the user is notified by the change of the transparency index of the plastic material. It is also possible to provide several studs of different heights in translucent material integral and protruding from the receiving part 5 to obtain a graduated reading of the water filling of the kettle. In order to ensure a good linear guide of the valve 16 thus ensuring the seal at the seat, the elastic member 20 is a calibrated spring of the compression type with turns and surrounds the foot of the valve; said foot serving as a linear guide for said valve. With this valve 16, the water filling and water heating operations in the presence of the load and the closure part 8 do not require any particular attention from the user, or even make them ergonomic to go directly to the infusion operation. Thus, by the control of the distributor 12, the hot water is propelled under a pressure preferably between 10 and 14 bar by the air pressure generated in the bottom of the kettle 2 and raises slightly, clearance J, the valve 16 to bring it to its infusion position for which hot water flushed through the load to infuse and flows through the orifice 9 flow. According to an important characteristic of the invention, the kettle 2 is housed in the casing 1 of generally cylindrical shape and has the shape of a tubular pot sealingly closed by the receiving part 5 and comprising an electric heating means 23 for heating. the water which is presently of the type screen printed plate fixed on the bottom 14 of the kettle or directly screen printed on the bottom. For a purpose of mass production, the pot is closed by the receiving part which is fitted by force on the inner edge of the pot with the interposition of an O-ring. In order to allow the user to use the apparatus for convenience with the installed load and the locked closure piece and thus to heat the water until it boils, the pot comprises a pressure valve 24 comprising a tube 25, one end 26 of which is located in the pot at a level remote from the inlet orifice 7 and the other end 26 'of which is connected to the free air via a pipe 27.The tube 25 contains a ball plunger 28 steel or glass capable of moving freely in the tube between two seats 30 and 31 formed in the tube and respectively said venting and rest. This pipe 27 has a common chamber in which are formed and open the seat 30, the connections with the pipe 12 'and the duct 13 for supplying air under pressure. An advantage associated with this common chamber lies in the fact that compressed air can pass through the seat 30 even in the presence of the ball 28 and thus clean the seat. In addition, this common room allows a purge operation of compressed air during the brewing operation to make a coffee called "restretto"; the ball 28 resting on its seat 30 thus preventing hot water from escaping through this chamber out of the boiler. The pressurized air pressure in the tank and the air purge of this tank through the same pipe 12 'connected to the pipe 27 are of course controlled by the distributor 12 which is currently of the multi-channel type whose selection is driven by the user. The operation of this ball under the effect of gravity is related to the fact that the housing and therefore the boiler is likely to occupy by turning 180 degrees two positions, a filling or heating position for which the pot or kettle carries the infusion head 3, an infusion position for which the infusion head allows the flow of the infusion into a container. Thus, the ball 28 comes to rest either on the seat of rest 31 when the apparatus is in filling or heating position and allows in the case of heating to let the vapor escape to the open air without subjecting the valve 16 at a pressure, either on the seat 30 of venting when the device is in the infusion position (Figure 1) allowing the admission of pressurized air (arrow P) in the kettle 2 by the duct 13 via the pipe 12 ', and vice versa, the tank air purge to control the stop infusion at any time including the purpose of making a coffee "restretto". 10 15 20 25 30
