L'invention se rapporte à l'assemblage d'un tube en matériau composite (1) et d'une pièce métallique (2) tubulaire, pour la réalisation de conduites. L'assemblage comprenant : - l'insertion d'une portion de ladite pièce métallique (2) dans ledit tube en matériau composite (1), - la déformation radiale de ladite pièce métallique (2) jusqu'à un domaine de déformation plastique suffisant pour entraîner une déformation élastique dudit tube en matériau composite (1), pour obtenir un contact radial entre la paroi externe de la pièce métallique (2) et la paroi interne dudit tube en matériau composite (1).
