Abstract

The device has an oxidation catalyst (3) for selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides. A reducer introduction unit (4) i.e. piezoelectric type injector, includes a mouth (41) through which a reducer or precursor is injected in an exhaust line. A mixer (5) is provided for mixing exhaust gases and the reducer and/or for converting the precursor into the reducer, where constituent elements of the device are grouped together in a single casing (2). The oxidation catalyst has a wall thickness comprised between 50 and 165 micrometer. The mixer has length lower than 70 mm. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a post-treating assembly placed in an engine compartment.
