Abstract

The module (1) has a flexible convertible top device (5) movable between an unfolded position and a folded position in which the convertible top device is folded. A lateral guiding unit i.e. guide rail (6), is arranged at each lateral side of a motor vehicle, and guides the convertible top device between the unfolded and folded positions. The lateral guiding unit is fixed on upper free edges (20) of side glasses (2) of the motor vehicle. Two sets of connecting rods (51) connect side edges of a flexible web (50) and the lateral guiding unit. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle.
