Abstract

The umbrella has a handle (1) whose sliding sleeve (4) is in contact with stretchers (3) to allow opening and closing of the umbrella. Each stretcher includes internal, median and external segments (5-7) successively starting from the handle. The internal segment is fixed by its proximal end to the sleeve and by its distal end (9) to a proximal part (10) of the median segment. A distal end (11) of the median segment is fixed at a proximal part (12) of the external segment. A free end of the external segment is pointed towards a top part when the umbrella is folded up.
