Abstract
The device (3) has a copper-indium-gallium-selenide (CIGS) thin layer type photovoltaic module (21) for delivering direct current between output terminals (7, 9) of the device, and a determining unit (23) for determining maximum power point of the module. The determining unit includes two input terminals (31, 33) connected to two output terminals (25, 27) of the module and two output terminals cooperating with the output terminals of the device. The determining unit determines an operating point of maximum power of the module in real time. An independent claim is also included for a photovoltaic installation comprising an inverter.
