Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'éclairage de la plaque de police d'un véhicule automobile, comportant au moins un élément d'éclairage placé en périphérie de la plaque de police, cet élément d'éclairage comprenant une diode électroluminescente et une lentille (4) transparente dirigeant la lumière émise par la diode électroluminescente vers la plaque de police, la lentille (4) comportant une pluralité de facettes (41-47) occupant chacune un secteur angulaire autour du point de passage de l'axe optique d'éclairage de la diode électroluminescente dans la lentille (4), chacune des facettes (41-47) étant conformée pour dévier la lumière qu'elle reçoit et la diriger vers une zone cible de la plaque de police.
