Description
The present invention relates to the thermoregulation of the powertrains of the vehicles and relates more particularly to a motor vehicle, in particular a hybrid motor vehicle, having a first and a second cooling circuit respectively serving to cool a motor vehicle. thermal engine and an electromotor subassembly. The document FR2890606 discloses a hybrid vehicle comprising, in known manner, a power unit comprising a heat engine, one or two electrical machines, electronic power components and a set of power batteries. Such an architecture requires both a cooling device for the heat engine, the electric machine (s) and the electronic power components. Since the coolant temperature level of the electro-technical components (the electrical machine (s) and the electronic power components) and the heat engine are not the same, it is intended to use two cooling circuits in order to respect the temperatures of operation of each subassembly. Typically, the cooling liquid of the electrotechnical components is of the order of 70 ° C. whereas the temperature of the cooling liquid of the engine is of the order of 100 ° C. The cooling circuit electrotechnical organs is called low temperature circuit and the cooling circuit of the engine is called high temperature cooling circuit.
Such a vehicle has a double link between the low temperature cooling circuit and the high temperature cooling circuit for circulating the cooling liquid between the two cooling circuits. Such circulation of the coolant between the two cooling circuits, because of the operating temperature differences of the engine and the electrical machines, must include controlled valves, for selectively isolating each of the two cooling circuits. Such an architecture requires that each circuit can operate independently of the other, but can at the same time operate as one and the same cooling circuit. As a result, each of the two circuits must have its own degassing device and its own expansion tank.
The degassing device and the expansion vessel constituting one and the same element more generally called degassing box. These two degassing boxes represent a relatively large volume and must be positioned at the same height, forming the culminating points of the two cooling circuits. When filling the two cooling circuits, the presence of these pilot valves and these two degassing boxes complicates and lengthens the execution time of this operation. An object of the invention is to propose a hybrid type vehicle having a compact dual cooling circuit whose maintenance operations remain similar to a vehicle having only one cooling circuit, with both cooling circuits still having to stay sufficiently separated to allow them to operate at different temperatures. For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, comprising a first and a second closed cooling circuit respectively serving to cool a heat engine and an electric member, such that it comprises a coupling defines a single passage. fluid between the first and second cooling circuits. The two cooling circuits comprise a single degassing box, with the degassing box associated with the first cooling circuit. To allow the flow of fluid in the second cooling circuit, it comprises an electric pump. The first cooling circuit also comprises an electric pump in addition to a mechanical pump, the electric pump being controlled independently of the operation of the engine and to supplement the mechanical pump for example when the vehicle is powered solely by the electric motor, the engine is then stopped. According to a characteristic of the invention, the junction of the single fluid passage with the first cooling circuit is positioned between the degassing box and the cooling inlet of the heat engine, thus limiting the transfer of gas in the second circuit. in the case of fluid transfer from the first to the second cooling circuit. According to a second characteristic of the invention, the connection comprises two ducts, the first duct being inserted along the first cooling circuit, the second duct being inserted along the second cooling circuit, the two ducts being connected by a room of bond forming the single fluid passage. According to a first embodiment, the connector forms a rigid one-piece assembly. According to a second embodiment, the connecting piece between the two cooling circuits is constituted by a flexible pipe, said flexible pipe being connected by two connections to the two ducts inserted along the two cooling circuits.
Other advantages and technical characteristics of the present invention will emerge more clearly in the light of the description which follows with reference to the figures of the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 represents a schematic view of a cooling circuit of a vehicle the hybrid type, comprising a first cooling circuit for a heat engine and a second cooling circuit for an electric machine and for the power electronic components associated therewith; FIG. 2 represents a first embodiment of a connection according to the invention connecting the first cooling circuit to the second cooling circuit; and FIG. 3 represents a second embodiment of a connection according to the invention connecting the first cooling circuit to the second cooling circuit. FIG. 1 represents a schematic view of a cooling circuit of a hybrid-type vehicle comprising a first cooling circuit 1 cooling a heat engine 11 and a second cooling circuit 2 cooling an electric machine, also called an electric motor, and the associated electronic power components 21. The first cooling circuit 1 for cooling the heat engine 11 is hereinafter referred to as high temperature cooling circuit 1. The second cooling circuit 2 for cooling an electromotive subassembly and the associated electronic components of power 21, is hereinafter called low temperature circuit 2. The high temperature cooling circuit 1 comprises a radiator, called high temperature radiator 12, selectively connected to the engine 11 by means of a thermostat 13 A mechanical pump 14, driven by the engine 11, allows the circulation of a coolant in the high temperature cooling circuit 1. Parallel to this high temperature cooling circuit 1, a bypass circuit 3 connected to each of these two ends to the cooling circuit high temperature 1, includes a degassing box 31: the degassing box 31 is an enclosed volume for pressurizing the circuit and contacting the coolant with air, allowing the liquid to evacuate gas that can s to infiltrate into the high temperature cooling circuit 1. Such a gas infiltration can come from various causes, one of the main being the combustion gas which infiltrates through the cylinder head gasket of the heat engine 11 during the passage of the cooling circuit. high temperature cooling in the cylinder head. The degassing box comprises an exhaust valve whose setting makes it possible to limit the pressure in the high temperature cooling circuit 1. This valve can be opened in the case of overpressure of the high temperature cooling circuit 1. The valve of exhaust is positioned in the center of a plug closing an orifice for filling the high temperature circuits 1 and low temperature 2 as explained later. The high temperature cooling circuit 1 comprises a second pump 15 actuated by an electric motor, called high temperature electric pump 15 for controlling the circulation of the coolant independently of the operation of the heat engine 1. The low temperature circuit 2 comprises a radiator, called low-temperature radiator 22, and an electric pump 23, called low-temperature electric pump 23, for circulating a coolant in the low-temperature circuit 2. The low-temperature circuit 2 is connected to the cooling circuit high temperature 1 by a single connecting piece 6 forming a fluid passage being preferably at the outlet of the degassing box 31 of the bypass circuit 3. The fluid passage formed by the connecting piece 6 ensures simultaneously filling of the high temperature cooling circuit 1 and ba 2. Such a filling, taking place through the orifice of the degassing box 31, is different depending on whether the filling is done at the end of assembly of the vehicle, in the terminal factory, or after sale at the time of assembly. maintenance of the vehicle: in the final factory, the high temperature 1 and low temperature 2 cooling circuits, not containing previously any coolant, are placed under partial vacuum by suction of the air they contain. This operation is done through the orifice of the degassing box 31. Once the partial vacuum has been carried out, the coolant is released and sucked, still through the same orifice, filling the entire cooling circuit, after sale, after removal of the old coolant, for example by purge orifices positioned at the lower of the high temperature cooling circuits 1 and low temperature 2, the liquid is, as previously, introduced through the orifice of the jar of degassing. The air, present in the two cooling circuits 1 and 2 not previously removed, is purged by second purge orifices positioned generally on the top of the high temperature radiators 12 and low temperature 22. Other orifices purge may be optionally distributed at different locations of the engine or electrical and along the two cooling circuits 1 and 2. Whether in the factory terminal or after sale, because of the positioning of the connecting piece 4 at the output of the degassing box, the closing by the thermostat 13 of a portion of the high temperature cooling circuit 1 has no influence on the filling of the low temperature cooling circuit 2. Figure 2 shows a first embodiment a connector 41 comprising a connecting piece 4 positioned between the high temperature cooling circuit 1, more particularly the branch circuit 3 of the cir 1 and the low-temperature cooling circuit 2. In this first embodiment, the two circuits are sufficiently close to allow the coupling 41 to be made in one piece, having two ducts 44 and 45 positioned in position. H: each of the two ducts 44 and 45 consisting of two end pieces 42 positioned in the same alignment, the two ducts 44 and 45 being interconnected by the connecting piece 4, forming a rigid connection. A first tip 44 of the connector 41 is inserted along the branch circuit 3, at the outlet of the degassing box 31, not disturbing the passage of the coolant in this bypass circuit 3. The second nozzle 45 of the connector 41 is inserted along the low temperature cooling circuit 2, also not disturbing the passage of the coolant in the low temperature cooling circuit 2. In this example the connection 41 comprises these two conduits 44 and 45 in the same plane, but it is also possible to provide that each duct 44 and 45 is in a different plane, the connecting piece 4 always ensuring the rigid connection between the two ducts 44 and 45 of the connector 41. The coupling 41 allows the cooling liquid present in the bypass circuit 3 and in the low temperature circuit 2 to circulate freely. Thus, if the circuits are sealed, only a tiny portion of the coolant is likely to pass from one circuit to another. The coolant that is likely to pass from the branch circuit 3 to the low temperature cooling circuit 2, just passing through the degassing box 31, contains very little gas, not risking disturbing the operation of the low cooling circuit 2. The positioning of the connector 41 is therefore particularly important because of the absence of a degassing box 31 on the low temperature circuit 2.
FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment of a connecting piece 5 positioned between the high temperature cooling circuit 1 and the low temperature cooling circuit 2. A first duct 51 is inserted along the high temperature cooling circuit 1. The first conduit 51 serves to support a first branch of the branch circuit 3 and a second branch of the connecting piece 5 on the high temperature cooling circuit 1. The two connections being opposite one another. The positioning of the two connections, facing each other, favors the possible exchange of coolant between the outlet of the bypass circuit 3, still at the outlet of the degassing box, and the low temperature circuit 2. As previously, such an exchange is preferable to the coolant that has just circulated in the internal ducts of the heat engine 11 and can be loaded with gas. The tapping on the first conduit 51 of the connecting piece 5 is extended by a flexible pipe 52, the second end of which forms a tapping on the low temperature cooling circuit 2, via a second conduit 53. 52 and the first and second conduits 51 and 53 constitute a connector 57. Of course the flexible hose 52 can also connect, always via two connections, directly the branch circuit 3 to the low temperature cooling circuit 2, limiting further , as in the first embodiment, a possible rise of gas in the coolant circulating in the low temperature cooling circuit 2. The second embodiment, as described, has the advantage of limiting the number of ducts, the first conduit 51 already serving to connect the branch circuit 3 on the high temperature cooling circuit 1. It is of course that the invention is not limited to the embodiments that have been described, but is likely to receive many modifications that will occur to those skilled in the art, particularly with regard to the positioning of the coupling 41 or 57 according to the first or the second embodiment.
