Selon l'invention, on engage une manoeuvre d'évitement du terrain lorsque les alertes d'un couple d'alertes donné sont émises simultanément, le déclenchement d'une des alertes dépendant des informations fournies par une première chaîne de mesure et le déclenchement de l'autre alerte du couple reposant sur des informations fournies par une seconde chaîne de mesure, distincte et indépendante de la première chaîne.
